  • When we cut the strand of hair at zero degrees, the cut is always at eye level. In this way we obtain the so-called Line technique, without directing and without elevating the strand. All haircuts are done with straight scissors (classic) and at the end if we have small imperfections we correct them with a hair clipper
    Ehen we cut the strand of hair at 45 degrees, we get the so-called graduation technique. All haircuts that are between 0 degrees and 90 degrees are part of the Graduare technique
    When we are above the occipital bone we can check if we are at 45 degrees by placing a
    comb on the strand of hair as I did in this video.
    When we cut the hair at 90 degrees to the scalp, we get the maximum volume and movement in the hair. All haircuts executed between 90 degrees and 180 degrees are part of the so-called step technique
    I recommend this technique for long curly hair
    Here you can see the differences depending on the elevation I used
