Thanks Tush.. Glad you covered the trunnion.... As a newbie I searched the service manual and something so simple was not easy to find. After watching your vid and going back to the manual it was easy to spot the illustration of the suspension does show the vertical link is threaded... Thanks again Joe O

i know im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a method to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid lost the login password. I would love any tips you can give me
@Hector Otis I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im trying it out atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Had a really frustrating evening in the garage today. When to put the lower trunnion back onto the vertical link and after 10 turns it would go no further. I counted and recorded 17 turns when I took it off. I cleaned the outside of the trunnion with a wife brush and carefully removed much of the old grease just as I did with the other side, and can't see how I can have damaged it. The vertical link was blasted and powder coated, but I taped up the threat beforehand to protect it. Not sure what I can do other than purchase a new lower trunnion. What is the best way to remove the old oil seal from the back of the hub? I 'm thinking the inner wheel bearing will have to be removed.
Do you have the brake caliper backing plate installed? To get the oil seal out of the hub, you can use a seal puller (like a birds beak) or a screwdriver to pry it out.

Yes the backing plate is off, so I will try to carefully ease the oil seal out with a bladed screwdriver.
Screwdriver did the trick thanks.
