First time I heard this I thought “that’s Aces High”. Then I played Aces High and thought….ok, it’s not. One of my favourites by them. “Fuck yeah” ….that’s my kinda reaction. I take it you know that it took a year but they announced the replacement bassist a few weeks back and man, they just improved perfection. I have a personal joint favourite track that I ask reactors to check out. It’s the polar opposite of this and Holy War…but it shows the range of styles that the band can perform, all effortlessly. There is so much incredible all female Japanese metal. My first recommendation is Nemophila 'Dissension'. Or Hanabie 'We Love Sweets'. The drummer for Crystal Lake is the producer for Hanabie. But the best Lovebites song is 'Set the World on Fire' :) Don't worry about the bassist lol. The new one is better.
This is a subjective opinion Minstrel Blood. Miho and Fami are great bass players. Miho has already proven it in LOVEBITS from 2016-2021. It was with her that the group achieved recognition and popularity. And Miho's contribution to this is hard to overestimate! Fami has yet to prove that he is worthy of taking the place of the bassist of LOVEBITES.

When it comes to Fame, she is much more versatile, demonstrating high level of various bass techniques, now can she fingerstyle for 2h at 180bpm? idk, does she even need to, we dont know. Is one better than the other? Not really a good question to ask, they are different types of bassists.

First time I heard this I thought “that’s Aces High”. Then I played Aces High and thought….ok, it’s not. One of my favourites by them. “Fuck yeah” ….that’s my kinda reaction. I take it you know that it took a year but they announced the replacement bassist a few weeks back and man, they just improved perfection. I have a personal joint favourite track that I ask reactors to check out. It’s the polar opposite of this and Holy War…but it shows the range of styles that the band can perform, all effortlessly. I'll suggest my top two songs by my all time favorite band, and after listening to metal for over 50 years, never expected I'd find my favorite metal band at 63 years old. Both of these songs are from the Five of a Kind tour Zepp DiverCity Toyko 2020.

There is so much incredible all female Japanese metal. My first recommendation is Nemophila 'Dissension'. Or Hanabie 'We Love Sweets'. The drummer for Crystal Lake is the producer for Hanabie.
But the best Lovebites song is 'Set the World on Fire' :) Don't worry about the bassist lol. The new one is better.
What exactly is your basis for saying Fami is better than Miho?
This is a subjective opinion Minstrel Blood.
Miho and Fami are great bass players. Miho has already proven it in LOVEBITS from 2016-2021. It was with her that the group achieved recognition and popularity. And Miho's contribution to this is hard to overestimate! Fami has yet to prove that he is worthy of taking the place of the bassist of LOVEBITES.

@@eatsmylifeYT Not really gonna say one is better than the other, all im gonna say is what is visible to any fan, Miho is an insane bassist when it comes to finger style speed and stamina, I dont believe there are many female bassists capable of doing 2h concerts at the pace Miho did.
When it comes to Fame, she is much more versatile, demonstrating high level of various bass techniques, now can she fingerstyle for 2h at 180bpm? idk, does she even need to, we dont know.
Is one better than the other? Not really a good question to ask, they are different types of bassists.
