- Toy Story 4 is one of the most ingenious films I have ever seen, and given how much unnecessary hate I see toward it I've decided to explain why in today's very special video!

Toy Story 4 is a 2019 American computer-animated comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the fourth and final installment in Pixar's Toy Story series and the sequel to Toy Story 3 (2010). It was directed by Josh Cooley (in his feature directorial debut) from a screenplay by Andrew Stanton and Stephany Folsom; the three also conceived the story alongside John Lasseter, Rashida Jones, Will McCormack, Valerie LaPointe, and Martin Hynes. Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Annie Potts, Joan Cusack, Don Rickles (via archive recordings), Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Estelle Harris, Jeff Pidgeon, Bonnie Hunt, Jeff Garlin, Kristen Schaal and Timothy Dalton reprise their character roles from the first three films. Blake Clark, who replaced the late Jim Varney in Toy Story 3, returns. They are joined by Tony Hale, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Christina Hendricks, Keanu Reeves, and Ally Maki, who voice the new characters introduced in this film.

What a 10/10 movie that writes characters extremely consistently.
This movie was truly a cinematic masterpiece. I can't believe how blind we all were to the truth, but now, we have seen the light. Thank you, Josh Cooley for everything. Now If you excuse me, I have watch the lightyear trailer for the 1000th time because It just looks so *StUnNiNg!!!*

Toy Story 4 might have been amazing, but that twist in Lightyear... wow. I'm still in shock by it. Like dang what a great twist.
The true artistic genius of this movie isn't it's masterfully written characters, gorgeous animation (Ok that one's unironically true), investing plot and the fact that it's such a stunning movie from an otherwise horrendous movie studio that has made a flop after flop after flop... But it's the fact that it's consistency is absolute perfection. There's not a scene I can name that isn't pitch perfect when it comes to consistency, like Woody being loyal to his kid and to his best friends, buzz being a quick-thinker that and incredibly loyal to Woody he always was, Jessie always being there with her good friends to help them out in tough situations and that's just to name character consistency! Let's compare this absolute magnum opus of Pixar to their abysmal piles of garbage like The Incredibles. In that overrated pile of dumpster fire, Mr. Incredible's and Elastigirl's family relationship is depicted as very healthy, but then, when Elastigirl learns that he has been away for a while, she immediately suspects that her wife is cheating on her, which makes zero sense! And did I mention that Syndrome (Who is a pathetic excuse of a villain compared to a manipulative demon that Chad ''Anabelle'' is) looks almost exactly the same nearly a Decade later, when he is revealed to be over _a god damn decade_ since him and Mr. Incredible once met! What a disappointment of a movie! Compared to this, Toy Story 4 is quite literally Shrek the Third and dare I say, _Little Panda Fighter_ levels of amazing! What a masterclass of how to do an animated movie... This film is leaps and bounds ahead of Pixar's regular trashfire output, please check it out.....
I wouldn't even bother comparing Toy story 4 to Shrek 3 or Little panda Fighter mostly because better quality despite it being uneccessary

I knew from the beginning that Toy Story 4 shouldn't have existed, but after seeing your review of it, I saw just how bad it really was.
tell me about it. the last shot of 3 was the clouds on andys wallpaper & thats how the first one all started. it was the perfect finale. the shorts & tv specials after that were awesome but a fourth movie was such a fucking stupid idea & so is that damn lightyear movie. tim wont even be in it & nobody can play buzz like tim. his movie the adventure begins & the show was a kick-ass spinoff already. i was almost six when it came out & had it on vhs. i moved in october 2017 & my vcr still worked but my mom made me get rid of it anyway :( i bought it on dvd from amazon last year & just watched it again last weekend. this ruined everything. buzz said in 3 whatever happened they were all gonna be 2gether then woody said 4 infinity & beyond & thats how it shouldve been

Toy Story 4 truly is the movie of all time
Indeed. The Animation was animated, the script was written, the characters existed and the score was composed. However, I don’t think it will ever beat Norm of the North as THE movie of all time.
I can just imagine Trevor physically dying as he wrote and voiced these lines. Guts from Berserk could not handle a percent of what Trevor went through to praise Toy Story

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Toy Story 4. It truly is one of the films of all time. I'd totally watch a 6 hour video series breaking it down scene by scene and praising how great it is.

When I was with my family to watch toy story 4 in the theaters, I said "How would Bonnie react when Woody isn't with her toys?" And my mom just said "Bonnie wouldn't even notice, she doesn't care about Woody anymore." I didn't think much of it, but it still didn't make much sense. Then I realized: It's just a stupid animated kids movie, why should I care about how much damage it does to the franchise?

People are allowed to like Toy Story 4 all they want; I’ve always said that and have never once implied anything other than that. I wasn’t frustrated because he likes Toy Story 4, I was frustrated due to the poor arguments he was making in defense of the movie’s quality and after an hour and a half of trying to keep the conversation civil I lost my cool. I certainly wish that stream had ended on a more pleasant note, but to frame it as me “throwing a massive fit because someone liked a movie” is quite disingenuous.

No matter what the subject matter is, that’s always gonna be incredibly frustrating to endure. You see, Lily notoriously hates Starlight Glimmer from MLP, a character that is generally liked.
So on april fools, she put out a similar video
"a glimmer of brilliance?"
But the thing is, her video was just a black screen with words like "Haha! You THOUGHT!"
And after April fools, Lily didn't add "April Fools" to the video title, or anything. So in the end, it just feels very mean spirited.
But you put your effort into this, which I approve
