Some guy tried to renovate his house himself but it was terrible, like he had load bearing drywall and terrible water and electronic circuits and at some point inspectors told him his house wasn't up to safety codes so he decided to become house inspector certified and certify his home house
who wakes up in the morning and thinks “i’m gonna build a house!” and then creates this abomination???

The fact that they THOUGHT AND PLANNED the construction of this house.
I’m pretty confident that this is the back of a house (not that it’s good lol) and there aren’t 3/4 levels - it’s a walkout basement and the massive garage is probably for a large boat. But that’s just a guess haha
Now I want a 10 minute build challenge where she has to make a floor plan and furnish this monstrosity.

I like to think that Sim didn't dying from burning to death but they died from just looking at the house

Regardless of if I knew them or not, pretty sure watching someone burn to death would make me sob. I hate when other people act like sims crying over sims they don't know dying before their eyes is an unrealistic feature. 😂
Completly agreed, witnessing a death sound traumatic. What bugs me tho is when some random visit my house and starts crying over graves of sims they havent even met.

Random but my sims builds when i first started playing was a huge box across the whole lot, penguin wallpaper in yellow, and the rainbow puzzle peice floor. Oh, and dont forget the hug toddler play-thingy in the basement, indoor bowling alley, movie theater, and of course the woohoo room.

For absolutely zero reason, at 11:11 this chaotic build video gets like 2000% more chaotic, and I am here for it.
Some houses have 4 stories in one part and then three that end up just as tall in the other - it happens more often than one might think with older houses because ppl come to the conclusion that the ceilings are too low in the old part.
Your sim saw what house you were gonna move them into and they simply decided they'd rather die than live in this abomination

That garage is for a semi cab/tractor trailer or a large Winnebago type travel home. I've known of a few people who've had them custom built. It's a growing trend to use the semi cabs to haul fancy tiny homes for vacation. Also, pretty sure that's the BACK YARD.

I can totally see how this space with the bifold doors and the three wide windows above could be a living room or kitchen, because the adjacent wall doesn't have windows on the bottom, but at the same height as the three wide windows, so this could be a two storey tall living space.
After the sim's death we can conclude that the house is cursed.

Honestly, this is what most of the houses in my area look like. Boxes with too many windows, windows that don’t match, and sometimes brightly colored
So my bf who's an architecture student is having a LITERAL MENTAL BREAKDOWN OVER HOW BAD IT IS AND HOW HIS TEACHERS WOULD YEET HIM TO SPACE IF HE EVER PRESENTED SOMETHING LIKE THIS IM DYING
I've turned in some pretty bad projects in my own coursework, but I think I'd die of embarrassment if I submitted that house.
That house looks like a bunch of architects got drunk and/or high and decided to collectively make the worst decisions possible. Then someone said “let’s build it” and then they did.

The Sims team needs to allow us to paint on walls using tools like the terrain paints! But in the form of wallpaper or just other colors. Would make custom coloring a house down to a T!
