Wow amazing video. You should try Powerhobby Raptor MX Low profile, design look same of MX38, but more little small. MX38 size are height : 6.8" width : 3.5". MX for Traxxas Maxx and other low profile RC size are height : 5.6" width : 2.96".
Nice video i put the E revo tires on my Maxx and dropped the pinion to a 22 tooth with stock motor and esc it handles like a hole different truck works really good love it
These wheels would be awesome if they were smaller. I'm currently runner the Duratrax Six Pack belted tires with the .5 offset for the Maxx. Awesome tires for the money, loads of grip and super light weight. But I was looking into powerhobby wheels for the Maxx. Might go with the smaller defender tires.
I run the traxxas geode wheels/tires right out of the box, took them from my nitro revo. back flips awesome plus they help cushion the landing on big sends, I wish they came out of the box with bigger tires. Stock look too small for the truck, awesome video.
Between these Raptor’s and the Defender’s, Which ones do you think are better and would recommend??? LMK thanks brother. And love the Content. My Favorite RUclips channel by far.👍✌🏼💯🤜🤛
Iv purchased the Vitavon bulkhead s for the Maxx is there shimming to do seams like my rear one has slop back an forth wondering if that normal thanks thumbs up on your video 😎👍
I no I don't give you money but be cool if could get an answer just do want to end up broken I went out an spent alot of money on Vitavon but there's no one you can talk to for support thanks
@@ExocagedRC As far as tires are concerned... that's pretty heavy. I had issues running trencher 3.8 MT's on my outcast 6s for a while, kept killing diffs. They are 13.4oz. I switched to backflip MT's and my diff issues seemed to go away, they are 12.5oz. Could also be I don't drive on pavement now, just grass. Either way, just the 1oz difference was noticeable in handling/air control and esc/motor temps. Was kind of surprised about that.
Nice combo 👍. Love the Maxx. I'm in the city Los Angeles, next to a park that is all grass and it's big. So neighbors bring other RCs and we race back and forth. My Maxx is running metal shafts, aluminum wheel hubs..on a wide kit with a 2250 Hobbywing motor on an MAX6 esc. Running some 3.8 badlands on 6S, on 20 tooth pinion stock spur. It can run 3 packs back 2 back.. no problem. The higher voltage allows less current to be drawn by the motor, so both ESC and motor runn cooler, and because your running a higher voltage your motor will spin faster, so gearing down will result in some good times with no heat issues. Very long run times. 🍻

Good deal.

I have the 2.8 version of those tires for my Typhon 6s and they have been very durable even on 6s. I would buy a set of 3.8 ones.
nhx 40mm heat sink with twin nhx fans..they are about $30..they keep the 2200kv cool on my maxx in the FL heat.
Cool flips😎
What gearing ? Do you think the stock motor and esc would be fine with the right gearing?
These tires are actually marketed as Maxx tires online and lhs
You're the man! Thanks so much for this Joe!
Couldn't help it, came back to watch the video again, and ordered a set. My obsession with tires continues haha.
Those are some damn good looking tires man!!!!
I think without the wide kit and just those tyres would be an improvement with more width! 👍
They’d probably rub the body.
Did u have to change ur gear when u put those tires on Maxx

Nicee video !! What brand of Servo Horn do you use?
I have used others with this Servo, and they always bend
Might be my new favorite tires! ;)
I got the max 8 esc combo an I can't keep tires a month 😫 ion know if I drive it to much or rip too much pavement up lol 😅
It's all fun till you stuff it into the back of the ramp!! LOL! Awesome bash!
😂😂 yep!!
How are the sledge hammers compared to stock, im thinking about them or the trencher lps for my maxx ?
I like the sledgehammers, so far mine have been good and are going back on this Maxx.

Is this with the wider stance or regular?
I have a Tekin T8 1350kv motor and I'd like to use a Mamba monster X for a sensored setup, does anyone know what I'll need for it to work?
Should be plug and play
@@ExocagedRC the castle sensor wire will work? I won't need a different one?
Bad to the bone my dude!!!
Cant wait for the next upload!!
Wondering what the wheels will fit perfectly
Thx for the tire link! I thought those tires would be at least $100 a pair! 👍
Put the max 8 combo in it and let it rip
Can't tell if it's big tires or a small truck.
Kinda both. 😀
How it these tire I have my eyes on it
Will them tires fit on the x-maxx
No sir these are 17mm. Xmaxx has a 24mm hex
Curious what they weigh.
Hey I weighed them finally. These are almost a perfect 1lb each wheel/tire 1lb .5oz

hi, what park is this lol i stay in LA as well and my friends and i usually look for different spots to use ours maxx’s and race and bash them lol
They look too big.
Are there any long term problem with driving this? Like breaking stuff in the drive train
