Yes love the gig works and there’s a lot of money to be made but there’s no benefit from 401k match and health insurance that the only downside.
There is a 401k option for contractors. It’s called a solo 401k and as a contractor, health insurance is deductible. Forced into being an employee would be the biggest tax ripoff of gig workers.
@@steve_Above_and_Beyond that is true but it’s all depends on the person if they have any knowledge about it. Just speaking from personal experience coming from the bottom of the hood also my parents from a different country that don’t really know jack. So they can’t really educate us .
I’m in my mid 30’s now and luckily for me some random guy took me under his wing when o started working in my early 20’s hee told me about the 401k and other benefits outside of that.

I'm about to graduate from gig work to owning my own business. Seeing how door dash and UberEATS are really popular in my area. I'm gonna open a hotdog cart and list my restaurant on both apps. Because 1. Everyone I've talked to wants it and 2. There are no gourmet hotdog eateries on both apps. So, I might make a few grand doing it.

I have a 2007 Honda Odyssey. I am on a few gig apps like doordash roadie and veho. Most apps I try to apply for what a late model vehicle. Are there any more apps out there that will accept my 2007 Honda. If so what are they

I'm sorry but I don't think it's a great time right now because if you look over in China robots are taking over with delivery drivers. So what do you think is going to happen over in the states is not here 100% but it should be here eventually and right now with the rates of paying low-level employees going up and layoffs is not looking good
