- The Old City of Jerusalem covers less than one square kilometer and is home to Jews, Christians and Muslims. The political tensions dividing Israel and the Palestinians are felt acutely here. How do the Old City's residents deal with this stress? We put that question to three families and to three clerics representing the three 'world religions'.

One crucial difference is that the Sunnies use a series of texts about Muhammad's life and deeds (hadiths) as a guide to living a godly good life. Purely theological, the two groups today agree that Allah is the only god, and that Muhammad was his messenger. Both sunits and shiites follow Islam's five pillars - among other things. Fasting and pilgrimage to Mecca - and regards the Quran as their holy book.

I don't think there's a problem with the different religions in a city or in a country. Look at most of the countries, they are a fusion of different religions but they are happy together. Respect is the core of a happy relationship. Politics is what creates the problem since it's their desire to overrule the others.
There is no religion in the world that promotes violence. Using religion to inject hatred is shameful act. Peace can only be achieved by respecting other religions and this is the core message of all religions.

The video starts by stating that East Jerusalem is occupied. What it does not say is that Egypt, Syria, and Jordan attacked Israel in June 1967 with the intent to destroy the state. The war resulted with Israel taking the Sinai, East Jerusalem and the West Bank.

let's be real though they all don't really live there in peace. There are plenty of religious violence between the Jews and the Muslims. the Jews feel like they run the place and the Muslims feel like they've been there for so long after the Jews that's theirs. funny enough before the British came and screwed everything up it was probably more peaceful there 200 years ago than it is now. Christians don't really have much religious violence, I'm sure they do but not as much as the other two. A real peace deal when it comes to this land really needs to be made. too many people are being killed in what is called Israel or Palestine whatever you want to call it. way too many crazy radicals on both sides and it needs to change.
This will happen when people accept one another. These angry demonstrations of superiorism is what stops the peace. All three religions exist, because God want's all three religions to exist in Jerusalem... Why can't people understand this?

Just my observation:
It seems that the CHRISTIAN family seems to be the most rational of the 3 families. They seemed to be more open minded and more loving. Again this is just my brief observation. I maybe wrong caused my decision is based on this simple and short documentary of each group. I am not saying that Muslims or Jewish people are bad. I think according to this video the Muslim and Jewish family seemed to be a little more closed off to accepting people from other groups. Live and let live. Let's all love each other.
