    If you just remove the end cap with a torx key then bore out a couple of the baffles. The end result improved the sound but it still handled like the p.o.s, it is. Back to the GS for me.

    Nah, still don't like that sound. I mounted a Miller slip ons, I think is a good compromise between a good and not deafening sound. I'd really like mount the Bassani tho...but I think my ears won't handle them

    Just take both end caps OFF
    pull both Baffles out
    Remove Fibreglass wrapping around both Baffles
    Re Install.
    Win / win

    • @RemboUSMC
      @RemboUSMC  3 года назад +2

      The caps are for looks, the baffles are not accessible which is why people buy slip ons.

    • @omegachar4754
      @omegachar4754 3 года назад

      When you take the caps off you'll find out Indian has welded the whole thing shut. There is no way to access the inside of the stock mufflers short of cutting them open.

      Can’t agree, as I accessed my Stage 1 pipes and removed fibreglass wrapping as I explained.
      My Scout is a 2015 Build so maybe Indian welded at later productions ?

    • @omegachar4754
      @omegachar4754 2 года назад +2

      @@karlmittmann6657 I think you're confused.
      We're talking about the stock pipes being welded shut, not the stage 1 pipes which you're talking about.
      I also have a set of stage 1 pipes and they can have the caps and internals taken off and out by removing screws.
      Long story short: stock pipes are welded shut, stage 1 pipes are not.
