Why tie a complicated knot when you don't have to. I use a Palomar knot. I've never had the knot break and it doesn't slip and pull loose.
By the time I’m done setting up with these crazy knots, I won’t be getting any bites but mosquitos bite all over my body lol & the fish already ate something more pleasant lol

The fisherman's knot (Clinch Knot) best knot ever and easiest knot for everyone to learn. I've pulled in massive salmon, steelhead, trout, bass and different species of fish. Also the fastest knot to tie. Takes me 5 seconds.
Palomar knot or double Palomar knot is also very quick and easy.

I used to use improved clinch. until i researched, improved clinch only 55% line strength.
Try the lindeman knot 95% line strength and just as easy to tie
Reminds me of all the crazy knots my mom ties. Wrapping line around her thumb and putting the tag end through random places.

Good skills. Here in the north west when salmon season arrives, essential and practical knots are a must. Clinch, egg loop, snell knots. Pretty much every river it's a combat fishing zone, the show and tell knots are left for later.

Quick cheat code. Always wet the knot line to tighten it (I usually just use my own spit - just a little will do) to guarantee super tight fit with no slip.

When I buy new line I try some type of knots in real weight test. And I can say that 10kg line may tear on 3-4 kg load just in the place of knot. That's why I have 2-3 my favourite knots which I can recommend.
They are practically similar to that one on 1:20

On any knot like this before you start cinching the loops down pull them down a little bit and then put all of the loops and the string area where it goes to the eye of the hook between your lips and get them all wet with spit and it will slide up tight and not fight you.0

What's the point of the modified palomar knot? How does wrapping it create any more strength than a normal palomar knot? The strength of the knot is limited by the strength of the line, so I don't see any benefit aside from a larger knot.

The knots look good but the breakage % would be interesting to know. Probably a no brainer but I always learn to use with the highest. There is actually a guy on here that advocates you pull mono/fluoro dry as the friction bonds the knot. 😵💫

@@seantonnessen6275 so how is your quality reflected ? Price? Manufacture? Your own particular favourite choice? Tests have been made on “quality” lines and are inconclusive and the only point against wetting the line during tying is a possible slippage but any decent angler tying his knot will take possible slippage into account when cinching his knot.Put this up against dry tying a line of undistinguished quality then it is safer to wet tie. Purely my opinion of course as I have only been fishing 55 years.

всё очень красиво , но абсолютно не актуально на реальной рыбалке, я использую один очень простой узел который меня ни разу не подводил, рвётся где угодно ,только не на узле,а завязать можно с закрытыми глазами, и в мороз когда руки не слушаются вообще.

Well there are a lot of knots that don't work well with braid. Obviously you aren't a fisherman if you cant understand or appreciate what is being shared here
You need one knot and learn how to tie a square knot. These are way not needed for fishing. Just content for profit like every other channel here.
