I am presently homeless, living with a friend while my stuff is in storage and in search of what will probably be my final home. My adult children tell me that I don't need a big house and lawn to manage but I keep thinking I do so I'll have room when they and my grandchildren come to visit. I've watched your videos and it seems you've figured that all out and created such a warm and elegant home in such a small space. I truly admire you for that too. It's so nice to see gardens from different zones. There's very little from your garden that will thrive here. The shade garden is delightful! Even your bees look different than ours!

So love your beautiful variety of hostas. I didn't fall in love with them until I first visited the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Hosta Garden many years ago. Since you're an avid gardener and live in Minnesota, I'm sure you've spent many wonderful hours there as well. We especially love seeing the redbuds in bloom in the spring.

HI Bea! I LOVE Bee Balm (monarda) but…fair warning, it’s borderline aggressive in the way it spreads. (Via roots, not self seeding) do give it plenty of room, If planted in super rich soil it will spread quite quickly…but it’s super easy to contain as it’s very shallow rooted. The humming birds love it just as much as the bees 🐝🦋❤️
