Here is list of non toxic products
    Castile soap
    Aluminum free deodorant
    Vegan shampoo/conditioner
Almond oil can be put on the skin as lotion
There is company called plant therapy that has organic cocoa butter that can be found on Amazon
This isn’t hard just have to do a little research of course these products are more expensive but worth it

In my neighborhood women are beautiful but they very seldom wear beauty products. Coily Diaries, hats off to you for being A True Sister Keeper. Staying quiet and pretending to care is foe the birds. Thank you for sharing your Knowledge

We use non-toxic fragrances.I learned about this three years ago..
I never wore make up my mother. My grandmother and need to get my mom's sisters. They just cleanse their face and put Olive oil on it.And that was all my mother used on her skin and on her hair and when we were little. That's what she put in our hair olive oil..
I never dyed my hair and never bought hair to put in my hair.I never wore nails just have my own nails just took care of them.I didn't work being a nail polish because my mother didn't wear it or my grandmother. And I do use organic aluminum free deodorants. That just started 6 years ago and non-toxic candles.I do like them whenever I take a bath or in my bed room. This was a fantastic video.Thank you God-Bless you ❤

  • @katethedimensionexplorer273

Good reasons to not use them. The Suave brand took out my hair and made my scalp so dry. I had to look up how to moisturize my scalp and stumbled across homemade hair mask. Never washed with shampoo ever again. My hairs softer, the color is darker, little to no dandruff and its getting thicker.

@@superwomanme Sure, I found the recipes on Pinterest and RUclips. I use plain greek yogurt, avocado, honey, eggs and a little apple cider vinegar. But you can use mayonnaise too since it's got eggs and oil. It depends on your hair and how it's feeling, I've seen people make mask with aloe vera, rice water and onion juice. Some use herbs as well.

That’s why DIY’s are the best. You know exactly what you’re using on your hair. I don’t really like buying hair products like that. I don’t know what’s in the products.🤷🏽‍♀️

    • @CoilyDiaries
      @CoilyDiaries  7 месяцев назад +5

Fair enough! I think DIYs are great but they don’t necessarily work for everyone and many don’t actually have time for them so it’s just a matter of learning g to read ingredient lists and there are apps and sites that only safer ingredients. My DIY error is long gone!

@CoilyDiaries exactly . Diy waste time and can be messy but that not is not my concern, the problem am facing when make diy and apply to my hair, the residue stuck on my hair even when wash many time and it make my hair flake alot.so now went buying store bought conditioner for easy wash day

My grandma relaxed her hair every 4-6 weeks her entire 88 years of life. It got to the point that her hair did not return to its natural texture. It remained straight and limp. She did pass of dementia. I’m not saying the relaxer is why. I’m just saying I saw the damage life long relaxers made. It does change your scalp and hair texture.

One of the best decisions I ever made for my natural was to Start making some of my hair product. My hair creame, oils, shampoo (mostly use black soap), i've been using my own hair butter for almost 3 years.
My leave in and deepconditioners are store bought but with no damage to my hair, these are essentially all I use.
I think we really don't need much to grow out our natural hair and as long as we keep thinking there is a problem with our God given hair and we need some magic product to fix it, there's always going to be a market for these kinds of products.

"The WHOLE World Laughing At Me" ----Teddy Pendergrass. The toxic results of rejecting a creative MASTERPIECE are real! If we only knew and appreciated how beautiful natural hair and skin are. Who came up with black, red, white, and yellow false categories of mankind? WHY? What are the colors of the speaker's skin and hair? Are we the only group that sees nothing wrong with males and females having DIFFERENT hair textures? "The WHOLE World Laughing At Me"------Teddy Pendergrass.
