I’m the same way with my DAK X. It’s nothing special performance wise, and I don’t use it much, but it looks darn good on the shelf. Enjoy your holidays.
The Dak 10 always sounded like crap and I used to tease the owners of them by telling them they put handles on em so they’d be easy to carry to the repair shop. Or sometimes I’d say that the needed somewhere to tie the rope so they could use them for a boat anchor. 😂 I thought that they looked like a stereo receiver.
I never really played with them much as I am a tube man, but from the net, I thought the the Dak 9 was crap, and the Dak ten was just meh. I wouldn't mind a couple more ten's as I would like to put a Tram D20l guts inside of a ten cabinet.
Hi Tram Doctor it's been a while. Just wondering if you could do a video on the General sb 72, never got my one working and would like to see how they transmit and receive. Ps good to see that you are well.
@@tramdr Hello Tram Dr. Yer I know you have I think I've seen all your videos, I've been a big fan for many years. But it's not one where we get to listen to it or see output. If you get the time I would be grateful, I still never got mine running yet and would see the sb 72 working, no one else has done videos this one working yet. But life can get full busy, even more at this time of year so it's ok if you don't have the time. Thanks for replying 73 from down under. 👍
Good morning TramDr. I like to know which frequency counter you used on the mark 3? I like to setup my up like that. BUG aka Sixtyyy 5 fourrrrrrr Las Vegas Nevada. Have a beautiful weekend.
I've got a Maco KW plus linear have you ever seen one or worked on one anyways it's not working right now I kind of shorted out the key up circuit or something unit still lights up but won't key up. Thanks for any help.
I have had a few Maco KW's. I have never had a KW+. The keying circuits in all Maco's are twitchy. I replaced the keying circuit in them with the Nomad Radio Keying circuit.
