    Since retirement my car was using half of my income and had become a huge liability so i sold it, and replaced it with 2 bikes. I can relate to all that she shared as a full time biker now.

    Oof, I know exactly what you mean about it being difficult living in a cycling unfriendly city; that's my situation currently. I still love getting around by bike, but it can feel rather dangerous, arduous, and just generally like your presence wasn't expected outside of a car. Maybe someday I can move somewhere friendlier too :⁠-⁠)

    Definitely Chicago Bike paths are prettier Specially you're on the path to south which is Amazing!! That's my Fav reaching out 163 street and beyone :) Have fun :)

    my husband came across your channel, and i'm so glad. we ride together a lot. this is a great concept. i scoot and bike the city. let me know if you ever want a scooter rider's story. i am so with her on the stopping at stop signs part! i made the effort to stop and follow the rules of the road, so please just go! cheers 🛴❤
