I've been calling my modest piles of gold and silver coins (which you appear to have overtaken in weight this year, Sreetips!) a "stack" from the day I realized that there was a great deal of value in precious metals and I'm the furthest thing from a right winger. Being reasonably prepared is just good sense. It certainly helped recently when my local supermarkets in France had many empty shelves and plenty of sick shoppers running around.
Its cool because it deals with all the precious metals... silver, gold, platinum group metals all mixed up in one chemical soup that could only come from a backyard refiner like Sreetips. I was thinking the same thing.
I got held back a year in 5th grade because I couldn’t pronounce certain words correctly. Still can’t to this day.
@@sreetips hey man, I had to work at the law firm for many years to learn myself. You do so many things so well and instructive. I just wanted to let you know that it warms my heart to see you to work and to see you grow as a performer. Your content really touches a lot of people with a very specific way or very least, scratches a certain itch that people like us have. Please keep going and please keep saying words however you want to say them and don't listen to some pedantic asshole like me. It's an honor sir.
You’re not that at all. One of the benefits of having a channel. Learning goes both ways. I’m glad that you pointed it out. No problem, no foul.
Nice little $33,000 jar...
Correct me because I don’t get the fact your going to make a video of refining the “pure” gold as you say in the future...🧐 how can you refine 24k?
The industry standard is 999 parts per thousand. Most of the gold is about 995 parts per thousand. The only way to get it to three nines is repurification.
what product do you use for the gold test the small broun bottle
1g stannous chloride crystals (eBay). 1g pure tin shot (eBay). 25ml distilled water (grocery store). 30 drops muriatic/hydrochloric acid (hardware store). Add to dropper bottle, shake, ready for immediate use.
And now I'm in the dog house because I had to catch up on your videos rather than do honeydos! :D
that gold vial has $32,236.25 worth of gold in it as of 6/16/2020. spot price currently is $1742.50/oz
If my math is correct that jar is well over 30k nice little hobby!!!
DO U HAVE TO HEAT NITRIC TO MAKE IT WORK?
No, and yes. Cold nitric will dissolve metals. But hot nitric acts much quicker. It’s important to heat it to get the most efficient extractions.
@@sreetips i like refining but why refine the jewelry. Why not sell. They r gonna refine it anywsy and u mske the money when u buy. Do u get that much more?
nearly £25.500 thousand pound there john
the quickest way to refined it is to take it to a smelter, weight it, smelt it and collect the check at 97% gold spot for that day.. no mess no fuss no deadly chemicals, it works for me each and every time.
Trading real metal for paper? I’m doing the exact opposite and converting my paper to metal as fast as I can.
@@sreetips point well taken.. metal trumps paper any time, but I am too lazy for all that rigmarole and wish I had the knoweledge and apparatus to do what you do. ;)
Rock beats paper and scissors!
@@robertjeffery5364 yeah.. but a check of $ 12.600.00 for an afternoon of work after spending only $ 3.500 is nothing to sneeze at no?
This channel isn't for you then🐓💨
Would you ever do this to someone else's gold filled jewelry ?
No, I only refine material that my wife and I find at local sales.
@@sreetips I have a huge bucket of gold plated and gold filled stuff I got from storage auctions over the years. And it would be awesome seeing someone do this to it lol. Enjoy watching your videos
dude! With that 10 oz 100,000 subscriber bar bid up to $1,075, I would quickly make up a 100,001 bar and see how it goes.
ummm sometimes people don't pay. Especially $100 an oz. for silver.
Good Lord ..a 54 minute episode broke down to about 12 minutes when I edited out all the times he repeats himself and rinses flasks with water or makes Aqua Regia ...
I tried making shorter videos but folks weren’t happy. I could make a complete refining video that’s just 5 minutes and shows every process...
I might just do that and see how it does
You have the same name as my cousin.chris smalley
@@sreetips we like the videos just the way they are. The thought, the process.
Say Jack keep your hands off of my
STACK !!!
$32K at today's spot price. Not bad.
Add it to the gold hoard, be a dragon.
