If you've upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10, simply back up all your files, wipe the hard disk and install Windows 7. When activating Windows 7, use telephone option and it will activate without issues. I was on Windows 10 for about 2 years before going back to Windows 7.

Download an ISO of Windows 10 (pirate it if u want. I don't care) then burn it to a cd or a usb drive and follow the.steps in a video that says how to install Windows 7

If you don't know your password for Windows 7 you can easily reset it there are thousands of videos that tell you how to do that.

Yup, same thing. For 2 months I was able to close when Windows 10 update popped up. This time it just took off and no way to stop it from installing. What nerve. Great video, and I'm back on 8.1**** Now I also changed my settings so that I can choose before any updates happen like this. Prob. happened b/c I had auto updates in MS in the past when I first bought this Lap Top.

Yes, you can install it, but you can't upgrade. You need to do a clean installation because it's not possible to go from 32-bit to 64-bit through an upgrade on any version of Windows. Instructions to clean install can be found here: ruclips.net/video/1_MnoQ51DqM/видео.html

I don't see any real benefit in trying to recover your old Windows 7 installation. If you make any attempts to do that it will cause issues for your current Windows 7 installation and you may end up having to spend time or money to get it resolved.
My advice would be to back up all your personal files to another hard disk (including anything in the "Windows.old/users" folder and then get a tech to do a clean install of Windows 7 for you unless you're confident that you can do it yourself.

Nope. But it's never recommended to do such significant changes without backing up first.
What is that Windows. Old which you have kept in that C drive. I don't have that..my technician installed Windows 10 directly as I upgraded to a new system.
That's the old Windows folder. Whenever you upgrade Windows instead of doing a fresh install Windows will add ".old" to the Windows folder that already exists so that the new OS doesn't use it. You can also come across this if you've clean installed an OS onto the same hard disk of another windows installation without formating the hard disk first or if you start the upgrade from inside the old Windows OS.
Since it takes about the same amount of time to do a clean install rather than an upgrade most techs will simply clean install Windows but a lot of home users who want to keep their files and settings intact will opt for an upgrade.
If the upgrade works out well and there's no issues you can then delete all the folders that end with a ".old".
Oh I c... I did a fresh install.. Mine was windows xp which was the greatest of OS it worked for 12 long years and now we only have this win 10. Xp was awesome. And 10 is awful.
