I've been using Windows 7 and XP devices since support expired without internet to run legacy photoshop and illustrator apps for artwork and as a word processor. Makes for an excellent device for specific projects as well as a backup storage device. I was amazed at how fast XP became after disconnecting from the internet.
Guys if you upgrade from 7 to 10 always change the windows.old folder name to something like "w7" because windows deletes the folder and changing the name will prevent it
Also,If you upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10,it’s also possible to go back to Windows 8.1,but if you don’t see this,you will not be able to downgrade. But it’s still possible to go back Windows 8.1,but you need to do a clean installation of the OS.
I tried using Windows 10, and made me get a clean install of Windows 7, because I HATE it when the telemetry is spying on your data. And it's running mediocre. (P.S: My Computer is an Apple 2012 iMac MacOS 10.15 Catalina running on 8 GB of RAM). I also decided to move to Windows 7 because I needed more optimization, and no bloatware and telemetry. It's Windows 7 Service Pack 1. The good thing with Apple, is that it can download previous Bootcamp Drivers to install Windows 7 Properly. (FYI: Windows 7 is running really fast on my computer.)

DO NOT downgrade to windows 7 if you have a laptop. I did it and didnt have internet connection because i dont have ethernet i use laptops wifi so DONT you will be stuck unless you have a disc to another version of windows

Well, I put windows 10 on this PC when I built it. It has been about 1.5 years since I built it. But I am absolutely sick of win10. I believe I'm just going to buy another SSD and swap them out so I can have 7 again. It has such a nice interface compared to 10. Win10 is okay, it is the interface that really sucks.
Then you will have to do it manually. Download the Windows 7 ISO and burn in on a DVD or you can make a bootable Flashdrive with it. Then you have to put That into your Computer, then restart it. After that , youll have to press the boot key on ur laptop/computer. You can search Up On Google the boot key, then go ahead install the win7

You have to back up your data, do a clean install of the version you want to use, and restore data from backup. At the end, you will probably even save time than going around and around trying to fix this.

Nvm, I just figure it out my self. Turns out that u just need to install a new windows and it will overwrite the current installed os on it.
