I upgraded my 14 years old laptop running activated windows7 ultimate to windows 10 home using the microsoft media creator. Now my windows 10 home is claimed as not activated. The label at the bottom of the laptop has faded, so it is not possible to read the activation key. Perhaps if I revert back to windows 7, it will also be unactivated. What a mess... I have upgraded win 8.1 to win 10 on my other laptop, the activation carried over to win 10.

I downloaded win 10Pro, rebuild version. After installation was complete, my pc was starting to run incorrectly! I tried everything to recover my old windows ( Windows 7).
I made it somehow, I don’t know how :))
But here’s my advice : Don’t you ever download a rebuild of an windows, it can destroy your pc!
