here's Dickel's panda joke......... A panda walks into a restaurant and orders a platter of bamboo. After finishing his dinner, he pulls out a pistol and fires 6 bullets into the ceiling. He then starts to walk out the door. The waiter yells " Hey, what the hell, man?” The panda yells back at the waiter, “Hey, I’m a Panda! Look it up!” The waiter types "panda" into Google , ands sees the following definition for panda. "A tree dwelling marsupial of Asian origin, characterized by distinct black and white coloring. Eats bamboo shoots and leaves.🤣
My Mom collected pandas and you can definitely find a home for most of that collection. It may not be hundreds but you definitely made that buck back. What a fun box and video.
Dear Renee, I enjoyed the unboxing of the Panda collection. It brought back fond memories of my childhood. When I was a little guy, Pandas were all the rage. Their popularity started with a diplomatic gift of two giant pandas named Ling-Ling and Hsing-Hsing from the Chinese government to the United States in 1972. My sister had her own Panda collection mostly given to her as Birthday and Christmas gifts. I think the Pandas lived into the 90's. What simple wonderful times, to think two giant pandas, a gift from China, stole the hearts of so many. Thank you!
My guess is the panda in the rocker is worth a bit more than a couple of dollars. I have to say Stoney Maloney was my favorite; cute and clever. There should be some decent value on the necklace too. I remember giving a poster to a boss. We worked in manufacturing and there were many days of plain chaos. The poster had at least 25 little pictures of a panda, in various playful poses and it said, "It's Utter Pandamonium Around Here!" I guess you had to be there, but it was cute, and I got a big laugh out of my boss.
That was fun! Now we all want to know what happened to Becky... Is she to this day persuing her dream working as a vet for the WWF in a large Panda Sanctuary?! Just googled and there sure is a Rebecca Chief Scientist there...
Wow, I think this must have been the former property of a fanatic Panda collector.🐼 The Heinrich WWF plate with all papers is pretty neat, I would ask 20,-/30,- at the flea market for this item. 🐼4:11 might be an original Chinese silk painting, worth around twenty bucks.🐼 If it´s an original made by a famous Chinese artist like Hsu Pei Hung, it´s worth thousands of dollars.🐼🐼🐼 Some items are a little bit kitschy, but: beauty is in the eye of the beholder, isn´t it ?!🐼 Anyways: you got an excellent auction lot for a whopping dollar which will generate a decent profit because there are tons of Panda collectors all over the world.🐼🐼🐼 And please, Renée, don´t get Panda nightmares tonight ... 🐼🐼🐼🐼Greets from GER, U.
Such a sweet video!😊And you definitely made me laugh aloud! 😆Thank you to Becky for saving these wonderful treasures for us to enjoy. We love your panda collection. 🥰
That is a nice Japanese or Chinese Edging or silk screen Maybe very good money on eBay depending on the artist Should be 20 bucks or more Beautiful panda
Renee oh how awesome your finds are! I have personally seen them close up at the Santiago Zoo in California! The are beautiful eating the bamboo! Your collection is so sweet! I love your hair! Simply beautiful! Tyfs!
My daughter's favorite animal is the panda, and she had many collectibles too. The highlight for our family was our trip to the San Diego zoo and we saw live pandas!!! My daughter was so moved, she broke down crying!!! Great score for $1!!!🥰🥰🥰
My granddaughter Hazel who is 20 months old just loves Pandas. She already has tiny Panda, Panda, big Panda and squeaky Panda. I can see now there are lots more Pandas to search for. Greetings from Kent in the UK. Bob
I'm not someone who would want a panda collection but that pencil sharpener is pretty cool! I'm sure your pandas will be scooped up by others who will be thrilled to add to their collection.
What a fun box! There are some Panda collectors out there that will love those things! Some of that definitely brought memories back from the late 70's and early 80's. I believe I had a panda clippy and those 2 panda figures towards the end look awful familiar. My mom used to make those decorative spoons! That was awesome to see. That was fun seeing what was in her box. Thanks for taking us along.
This bought memories back. I had a money box in a cage, can’t remember what the box was but the cage was exactly the same as yours. Also had a teddy on a bike. This would have been early 80’s so thanks for the memories!💋❤️
The little clip on pandas made me smile. My husband and I have to put our clip on Odie and Santa on the Christmas tree every year. They are probably from the 80'S too. N
What a cute and fun box! You just have a way about choosing boxes that give you the most for your money! I hope you recoup your $1 +! Thank you for sharing this fun box!
I think you did good. I would check out that pencil sharpener. I love it. So cute. I do rember the little bears on everything. And the pinch on things and all the stuff made out of rocks. I bet they made a small fortune withem.i love you cutey. Stay safe and healthy. ❤️😘💞💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✌️👶
Save those PANDA MUGS and PANDA STATUES for Christmas gifts! you would be the life of the party! I can imagine the conversation around the Christmas tree 🎄 when everyone opens them up! 😂😂😂
Thats a neat buy...you can't go wrong in that. Love the vintage pandas. When you're a collector when you can't find things, you make them by painting them. I think they are the more valued cause they become one-of-a-kinds.
Those patches are fabulous! And your little cousin would love that Panda in the cage bank! Also love the pencil sharpener.. last but not least, that scrimshaw piece will pay for this MANY times over! The best finds, IMO 💖 🐼🐼🐼
Who doesn't love pandas! What an incredible assortment of panda paraphernalia (say that, fast!). That rockin' panda looked like it was a brand-new toy! Modern Toys sure sounded to be a new-type company, too! Nope. That little guy is probably twice your age - it's from the early 1960s! It probably was never played with, either - the battery compartment looked pristine! I'd guess, that you'd already made almost one hundred times your initial investment, with him alone! That's wonderful. Now, let me get back to your incredible video to see what else you've turned up! Thank you for the great peek into some awesome treasures! All the best.
What a great Panda collection. I wonder if these little collectors have any idea that their collections goes on to be cherished? I see you in long sleeves. Every place in TX is to be over 100 degrees tomorrow. Some places 120. This is week 8. This passed Monday was supposed to be a high of 94. It was 112. I had a Dr's appt and didn't make it.
I love Stoney Maloney. In 1970 art class we used to make rock animals lol. Some kid got smart and patented pet rocks and became a millionaire lol. I like all of the pandas! I want the panda cup.☺
Absolutely good deal for a buck! Any of them named Andy Panda? I had a couple of those clip style bears, but mine were Koalas and hung onto my car visor. That was a fun box 👍👍
If the rocking panda still works, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at its value. And if he doesn't rock, well, then you have a sweet vintage toy, right? Glad that somebody's much loved collection found its way to your care.
Hey Renee. Happy Wednesday to you my friend. This was awesome. Their were so many beautiful and different panda 🐼. Did you make your money back on this box. Yes you did. If they are from the 80's, then they are vintage. I wonder what is in the next box of treasure's. God Bless you sweet and amazing Renee. You take care my friend. See you next time for more awesome video's. Love you. Mari'a.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍👍🌈🌈🐼🐼🐼🌈😊😊😊😊😊🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼🐼
Congratulation on your pre-made panda collector's kit. A whole panda-emic. I read an article the other day that said that in a panda preserve in Sichuan Province, China, people (workers, researchers?) wear panda costumes to interact with the pandas to limit the real pandas' stress levels. Too bad there wasn't a Sichuan Panda Costume in there. The article was actually about a Malaysian Sun Bear in the Hangzhou Zoo whom some people say is a costumed person ... because it often stands on two legs. The Sun Bear insists he is the real deal. I wonder if any of the bears or bison in Yellowstone are people in costumes? Apologies, I don't know anything about panda-iana or it's value - this was the best I could come up with. Have a great Wednesday afternoon! Anything in there you're going to keep?
Yes, those were cutesy-looking bears, too. I think that they all were real animals - except for one. The wrinkles/folds in his costume sort of was a dead giveaway!
I spit my coffee out on the homemade panda 😆🤣....Stoney Maloney last sold for 40 bucks back in 2022....Panda are Profitable !!!!!!!!! Good for you!
I could picture an elementary school teacher putting that panda pencil sharpener up in class, for the students to use!
Pandamonium! And the thrill of discovery. Thank you.
"Pandamonium" - that's perfect!
here's Dickel's panda joke.........
A panda walks into a restaurant and orders a platter of bamboo.
After finishing his dinner, he pulls out a pistol and fires 6 bullets into the ceiling.
He then starts to walk out the door.
The waiter yells " Hey, what the hell, man?”

The waiter types "panda" into Google , ands sees the following definition for panda.
"A tree dwelling marsupial of Asian origin, characterized by distinct black and white coloring. Eats bamboo shoots and leaves.🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
How Dickel comes up with these jokes 😆
Eats shoots and Leaves is the title of a book about punctuation.....
Love it😄😉❤️
A sweet Childs panda collection. Probably bought with pocket money. Such good nostalgia value! $1? You can’t go wrong! Take care darling xx
My Mom collected pandas and you can definitely find a home for most of that collection. It may not be hundreds but you definitely made that buck back. What a fun box and video.
I love your hair long you look pretty!

Great treasures & all for $ 1.00!! = SCORE‼️ Great video, Renee. ❤️
I love the panda tea pot. I think you made a great choice and profit all in one.
That was fun! Now we all want to know what happened to Becky... Is she to this day persuing her dream working as a vet for the WWF in a large Panda Sanctuary?! Just googled and there sure is a Rebecca Chief Scientist there...
Wouldn’t it be crazy if it was the same “Becky”?!! The collection was most likely packed up when she went off to college…..
Oooh! News paper. That's going to be more valuable than some antiques now...lol.
Why is it that I like the rock Panda so much! I just do. Lol! Love your longer hair Renee. It looks really nice on you. ❤

Panda’s were a big thing in 1980 +. My daughter was born. We named her Amanda and called her Manda Panda and yes of course we had all kinds of pandas.
My first child,a daughter, was born in 1980 also.
That is a nice Japanese or Chinese Edging or silk screen Maybe very good money on eBay depending on the artist Should be 20 bucks or more Beautiful panda

I still have my Stuffed jointed Panda from my 1st Christmas in 1969.
The crocheted pandas are the cutest.😊

Put that on a shirt: “what can we find in a box!”. 😉
That’s some panda-modium.
Maybe the panda in the cage gets free, when the bank is filled and some mechanism opens up the cage?!
That would be neat if that did happen!
Chain on the piece of jewelry does look like to be silver I would think it would be 30 bucks online or maybe even more
