Yay ! My husband and I trash pick / scrap buy and sell and up cycle . I have commented on your videos before and that was an excellent find. My husband and I traded cutting 6 cord of wood this fall for a 1975 Hi - Lo 2175 B camper. It needs some work but we are super excited to remodel it . In that trade we also got a 2 and a half ton snap on floor Jack and a craftsman 2 horsepower air compressor! It was a disabled man and his elderly mother and they were so happy to be able to heat their home that they just offered us that stuff for our work. I took them over pumpkin pies at Thanksgiving too. We love seeing what you find and 57.43 is a score ! That vase was pretty. I hope you have a Merry Christmas from us here in Northern Michigan to you.

I would check the prices on those old crystal ornaments and especially that big crystal 2 piece vase before I took them to the flea market
I have that big crystal mistletoe hanging in my home. I seem to remember it being quite expensive when my wife bought it.
Maybe you should have a box marked "chipped" and set a price of a dollar or 2 at the flea Market...people love digging and rummaging through things and repairing stuff 😊

I have seen those crystal ornaments in Michaels and Hobby Lobby ! I don't think they're that old. What you called leggings are leg warmers ! Great for skating ! My daughter had to walk to school and wore them !
Don't forget to take those blue lights off that candlelabra and the cord probably has copper wire !

Couldn't have found those gift cards at a better time. You can make up a little basket with a pound of coffee and a mug or two for someone for Christmas. Or use them however you like. That is so cool. Sure makes up for Goodwill a few days ago. And it couldn't have happened to a better person.

Coldwater Creek is a popular store and catalogue that restructured, the stores closed for a time. When they reopened the stores, the first one was in New Jersey or at least that is what the catalogue operator told me. I love them.

I found a gift card with $140 on it. I actually posted it on the Facebook groups for that town. After 60 days no one claimed it. It came in handy while I was laid off during the first part of Covid
Those hanging crystal ornaments look like Kissing Krystals by Ganz. I just sold some smaller ones like them on eBay.. The larger, like yours, go for some nice $$$$. Good find!

I suddenly thought, what if I realized I knew these people? or even, what if it was MY trash? Yes most definitely not a 2.00 flee market item. She has 3-400.00 worth of those ornaments all together. They are all the large size. Be great sale online or maybe try FB local.

Hi Renee! Finding money in the trash is the best because it can be anything you want it to be. I remember finding 5$ and 10$ bills in the pockets of thrift store clothing, and one time I bought an LL Bean or Landsend backpack, and it had more money in it than I paid for it. So fun! :)
I get excited when I find pennies on the ground, so the gift cards are such a great surprise!

💕 the blue Coldwater Creek scarf...you should keep that & the Laura Scott sweater (if it's your style)...her things aren't cheap either. I know they were sold at Gayfer's and later Dillard's.

Oh yeah another trash bag video. Fingers crossed you find lots of goodies. Seems they liked clocks lol maybe late morning sleepers that needed to get up and about. The old candle may be able to be fixed or use the candles in crafting for looks. Congrats on the 50.00 gift card.
I'm always amazed at what people throw in the trash. Their trash, your treasures.
You should always save old-style Xmas light bulbs. People still have the old light sets and have trouble finding replacement bulbs.

My Mother had a small tree decorated with those exact ornaments, After her death, they just disappeared, (I am sure they are in an aunt's house). Coldwater Creek is a store. I used to buy clothes there that I wanted to last such as a warm sweater I'd keep for years. It was pricey but the stuff is good quality.

I do the samething put all holiday items in clear plastic bags. Thats so no dust can get on them when I put them in the attic or basement. It keeps them dirt and dust free. Even my other items that I store . It's a pain when a box breaks or a bag rips and the items are loaded with dirt and dust for the next year holidays.

Great bag Renee! Idk who you have to buy Christmas gifts but that crystal hurricane lamp is nice just buy new scented candle ( decor, scent or favorite brand match to who you're giving.) I promise be a beautiful center piece or even on side table in someones bedroom. Its a beautiful gift for someone special.

😮Seems like someone's parent died and they're cleaning out the house. Having done some of this recently when mom passed..you cant imagine how much stuff accumulates. Limited time and space.
