Girl these videos that you and others are putting out right now are so awesome and entertaining that I don't even watch television anymore! I hope all goes well for you the rest of the year and on to the next, thank you for sharing!
Isn't that the truth; TV is never on Thursday through Monday, then just a few shows on the other nights. Couldn't believe that so many "new" looking clothes were in the garbage; guess there are no homeless shelters that could have greatly benefited from the clothes, tsk tsk.
The record player/radio combo was probably a gift which was never used. I know how that is as an older person sometimes you just don't get around to it:) Live it up Rene!
My favorite as always is your enthusiasm. May you find many more wonderful trash houses and keep these ideas from the landfill. Please stay safe and be careful! ❤
I am so happy for you. So much nice stuff. The clothes all seemed very clean and there was no dirty trash at all. I like the jackets - they looked like they were rarely worn and well taken care of and I'm glad you also have funds to have dinner and do some shopping. I do hope the people at the flea market can appreciate how nice these clothes are and that the right guy comes along and buys all of the mens flannel shirts and jeans. The dressier clothes might take a little more effort, but who knows? The right person at the right time... I hope you sell every thing that you don't keep for yourself, right down to the last belt. You did well this time and I do hope there are more bags to be found at the gift card house for you to save.
This was so fun. Please just say button the way you say it normally! You have a regional accent and it's charming. You are so expressive and fun to watch. I enjoy your videos and hope you get to Yellowstone in the spring. Thanks for the video!
You are so darn FUNNY, especially when you find vintage treasures or GIFT CARDS! I can not imagine throwing all those clothes, and useful items away-they did not even take the stuff to the thrift store! THAT IS GOOD FOR YOU, but what if you had not taken the bags, they would be in the landfill! Those were just put there for you! I just put a few mostly vintage items at the end of the drive, and a day or two, it all goes to a new home!
The other great thing about this is everything is really clean, no mold no mouse droppings. It could be that these clothing are from a time when they wore another size or they just have too much to go to a smaller home.
@@PaperandMoose Me. I go there and eat all they have. Take my main meal home in a doggie bag. Sometimes I go there just to buy bread sticks a dozen at a time takeout. They're almost all gone before I get home and I wish I'd gotten two dozen.
Renee! I don't know if you knew this but LLBean has the best return and exchange policy. As long as it's an LL bean item,no matter how old, without a receipt, they will look that item up,how much it sold for and give you store credit for that amount!
Hi Renee. WOW! My favorite was the gift cards and the record player. The clothes are awesome for donations and the Flea Market. God Bless you Renee. Stay safe and healthy. Maria. 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌺🌺🌺🌺🎀🎀🎀👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️🎀🎀
Olive Garden is worth it for me!! The clothes oh my what excellent condition! I love the record player. That seems fun to me. Hope they put out more bags!!!!
My favorite thing from this trashbags house was hanging out with you and looking through the bags and your smile and excitement! Fingers crossed for more trash picking success in the future!
The owners must have moved into Assisted Living. And I do think a company cleaned out their house. Family members wouldn’t throw out new items. Good score for you!
Yeah they would throw out new stuff. I’ve seen it before. Ive seen plenty even get rid of the house itself real quick and cheap. If they just didn’t want it, live too far away to get stuff home or they just have no use for it.
My uncle an Aunt did when they moved my ma to a assisted living. An her address book an more than half her clothing. An alot of other items. They didn't tell any one. Not even my mom i found out by just stopping by. An yes i had a argument an so did my mom. It is still a mess
When you move into assisted living they do not want any dry clean only or clothing that needs to be ironed. It all has to be permanent press or easy wear. The clothes all get thrown into the laundry and get returned “in bulk” to the “tenant”. I have had a few family members that ended up in these places and their clothes were forever being lost (if they were quality) or getting ruined by not being laundered correctly. Plus they are limited on the amounts of clothing they can have with them.usually at times like that… the family either has short amount of time to get things ready or do not have the patience to sort through everything. When we moved my aunt out of her home and into assisted living we had to leave behind almost everything… her husbands family had an estate sale and sold it all and they were not even present during the sale… everything that did not sell was thrown away!! This was in Leonia, NJ… several years ago. I have since educated myself in estate sales and now have the ambition to take on selling things myself… just not “full time”.
Nice to see some Christian Dior in this trash bag, Renée ! As I said before, this household must have been quite wealthy. And: congrats again on meanwhile eighty bucks on your gift cards ! 14:11 "Eichenluft" means "oak air". Greets from GER, U.
You should probably be listing a lot of those clothes on Poshmark rather than a flea market. My daughter gets about $15 a piece for those men's shirts. Dior men's bring 40 to 60 but some sell for as much as $200 so be careful.
I've seen it happen time after time. Gram passes away or goes to assisted living, and the family go into the house, take a few items and dump the rest in a dumpster. They don't want it, but won't take time to donate it somewhere, easier to trash it and walk away. The older folks kept stuff because they lived through times of scarcity, but most of the later generations can afford to go and get what they want, and when they are done with it, it gets trashed. Don't give your elders material items....give them the gift of your time, take them out for a meal or to a concert, or just stop by for an hour for coffee and a chat! Precious gift--time.
I think that you are correct in the time factor - it's easier, time wise, to throw things in trash bags versus packing up and driving to thrift stores or donation bins. I often think of what is lost in trash cans, especially in towns where people are not allowed to put items out.
Those L.L.Bean jackets are a great find .I buy from them all the time and they last forever i had the pleasure of traveling north to Maine and stayed within walking distance from the store the town was beautiful the store was amazing. Once in.a life time so now i get the best flannels by mail .enjoy your jackets you will love them. Happy trash picking.
Great finds! I wonder why the people in the house did not take those things to a donation place themselves? Brand new things and they threw them away. Well at least you found them and will put them to good use either by using yourself or selling them, so all is not lost. I cannot believe these new things would be sitting in the landfill if you did not rescue them. Thank you for sharing. 😊👍
Wow Wow Wow....what a score on the record player.....Woooo gift cards are fun to find....I find them in my house all the time when I am cleaning drawers out...lol.....OMG!!!!!!! yes Dior is about $600.00 and up new for a mans dress shirt!!!! VIP jackets can get you some money............ Love these videos....
Awesome score on the "gift card" house..I SOOO ENJOY your enthusiam! Your "genuineness " is so refreshing! I get so excited and amazed at each new find right along with you! I CANNOT wait for your next adventure! Take care and stay safe!
Score!! I can't imagine finding stuff like that in the trash!! Happy for ya :) You would think people would donate rather than throw it away; how wasteful is that? Thanks for sharing
Fun fun fun!!! Maybe Taco Stacks could use that fun sweatshirt. The colors are great on it. Enjoy your Olive Garden! I love Olive Garden. I'm making a big pot of beef soup for dinner. I really enjoyed this video. Will miss the trash bags. You have a great weekend sweety. ❤️😘💞💞💞🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌞🌞🌞🤶🎅🎄🎀🎋👼🎶🎶❄️❄️☃️⛄❄️💂🎁✌️👶
he's not an XL but a lot of people like oversized flannels to wear over sweatshirts and stuff. Those looked like nice thick quality flannel, perfect for this time of year!
I was a dumpster diver from 1999-2007 after my father passed in March 1999. I found the best stuff in rental areas, and where college students rented apartments. Best times are during exam week. Typically they just set stuff in boxes next to the dumpster. Most wasteful folks are single females with 1-6 kids...they don't have time to plan their moves...so they pitch what does not fit in car. Best find was a tennis bracelet in pocket of mink coat :) In 1-2 weeks could recycle enough canned and dry goods to feed me for a year. Lots of Frozen beef and full liquor bottles too!
I can't believe people throw away gift cards you can go shopping and go out to eat at the same time nice clean clothes great finds take care God bless 🙏🙏
Wow this might be one of your best finds yet. These garbage bags were worth a lot. Love that you got three gift cards. I’d be checking their trash daily. 😂😂. So happy you got some good things. ❤️

Amen! Television isn't anything compared to this! I also watch The Scrap and Pallet Man channel. He's awesome!
I don't watch tv either anymore!
Another gift card - no way! Enjoy your dinner - fingers crossed this house has more to throw away. 🤞🤞🤞
The record player/radio combo was probably a gift which was never used. I know how that is as an older person sometimes you just don't get around to it:) Live it up Rene!
I remember cleaning out my Nan's house & the VCR was still in the box!
Awesome finds! I am amazed what nice things people throw out, when there are people out there who have nothing and could use them. 😥

I am so happy for your great finds!

Wow Renee, you hit the jackpot on this house!
"What is next " Renee...as you said " endless breadsticks ".. and probably a nice cup of tea :-)
You scored on this trash pick! 👍 can’t believe someone would just throw away so much good stuff. I’m glad you saved it from the landfill.
So good, another giftcard 😁 you were meant to save those trash bags, so many great items in them and those shirts looked amazing 😊 thanks Renee
My Sony player is exactly like this one and I still use it every day!! I love it!! I am missing the tuning knob on mine.👍 If player does not sell at your flea market I would love to purchase the knob from you so mine will be complete once again.💖
Look in bottom of bag because you may find other knob there as they were very loose, even upon purchase!!
