- Check out these talented kids play the blues!!! We have 15-year-old Trey Wanvig & 12-year-old Xander Marsden here at #NormansRareGuitars! Xander Marden is playing a Fender #Stratocaster Plus from the 90's and Trey is playing our Gibson Les Paul 1959 Reissue! What do you guys think of these young men?

The thumbs down was probably due to the fact that they stopped playing.

Nothing pleases me more than to see and hear young kids play music or sing as well as they can - I would love to have had that chance. However my parents never had the money to buy such thigs for us kids.
I am one of 7 children so you see how that would work. I was born during the second world war in England so again that was imposable - All you kids out there find something you like to play music on, and become the best at it. Or sing. It will stay with you all your life and you will be pleased with yourself. Plus you will always have friends who can play with you. There is a program in England called "The School of Rock" many young people Boys and Girls have gone through that and improved a great deal. Plus all great fun for them all. - Good luck to you all - from Canada

The kid on the left actually hears one of the strings out of tune and brings it into tune during his playing- amazing

I've had the pleasure of meeting both these young guns at Dreamcatcher guitar camp 4-day events. They are excellent players and really nice young gentlemen. The future bodes well for both of them and the craft of guitar playing.

Thanks. Thanks oh so much... Add the number of years those two young men have been ALIVE, together and the sum total is less than half my age and they are both extraordinary musicians, and I can't carry a tune in a friggin bucket... I am so depressed.....
It's crazy watching these young lads playing in pretty good timing and phrasing already, with the one already doing down bends properly, and adjusting tuning 'on-the-fly' like that. Good to hear the blues still resonate with youth, and just hope they explore back a bit..to the Albert Kings, to John Lee Hooker and such, to get it from the source so to speak.

the tone from the 11 yr old with the strat, sound really nice and pure. I usually don't like fender lace pickups, but sounded really good
