@ the straits is a snaggy place. You’d be standing where your casting too from high water more chances of snagging up easier to cast into the channel over low than over all the weed and what not over high
School report time is coming lad, where you are fishing is that the place where mussel beds are? Use mussel mixed with blacks, cart squid cod sweets those 😊😊😊
I am not fishing there, however if I had that bait, that would of been the first bait in. Tough fishing, between us all... a couple of bites. They just didn't feed, o think I'm onto it.
@thatsabite Mike as you know each tide is different mate, every tide also, just keep on chucking the baits oot and most importantly ENJOY the craic with ya mates and keep safe 👍
Lots of cold ftesh water getting into there maybe ?? Been plenty of run off recently.. But , unlucky anyway... If you dont shoot, you don't score ... If you dont fish ,you dont catch....
That's the one, i think I'm onto it. Once I go again, i think I've cracked the habits. Time will tell, although... looking back, i think I've dropped two cod atleast... the bites etc all point towards the cod. I'll have one soon, just been unlucky. I keep rolling!
I used to fish alot in the same areas mate when i was younger from age 11 to 18 maybe i fished these shores and loved it, Dunno why i stopped.. now I'm 47 I'm putting my new tackle list together and I'll get out again health permitting but it'll be a little while. I'm not far from the coast so it's fairly easy. Might try splash point first.. I asked because I wondered if you'd fished it since they've built the defenses up there. Tight lines pal.

The team I fish with have a fulfit 3 blanks in a row and you have to play a round of golf
