- Gingerman is the Midwest's Buttonwillow. It's not as famous as other tracks around it, i.e. Road America or Mid-Ohio, yet people REALLY care about it. As much as we like to be different, this one matters to us, too. A year after our stock-ish M2 ran a time of 1:36.8, we're about to find out what the new-and-improved M2 TA can do around this place. Let's go.

yeahhhh sorry for not passing the RX8 earlier in session 1. No hand out the window or anything, couldnt tell if he was just gapping badly or not and I didnt want him to come barreling through into T11 or T1 on the flyer. Honking the horn definitely helped haha.

It sure does! This is only version 1 of our aero kit. The whole point is you can buy this kit from us or Verus and have a good amount of downforce without sacrificing too much for the street. Next version will be significantly more aggressive!

Do you think the performance is better than on the Supra? Which one do you like/have more fun driving? Not that I’m racing on your level but I’m looking to upgrade my track car from my 2011 BMW and I would love to get either the M2 or Supra but can’t decide.
Stock to stock I think M2 is superior. Supra feels more like a sports car to drive but M2 has a slightly higher limit on track and feels more tuned for track use from factory. Honestly you can’t go wrong with either!

It would but you’re also adding a lot more weight to the nose of the car

The BMW just needs good traction control like it had before being tuned, the M-TC was awesome. Not too restrictive while helping with traction.
The trade off really depends on the track. Autocross and low speed tracks with a lot of traction zones, sure it would be beneficial. But at higher speed tracks like Road Atlanta, Road America etc, I would prefer to have less weight I think!
I was thinking the same thing. It would've been interesting to see PhD Racing develop a M240i xdrive.
Are you running with the M traction control completely off or have you still kept it at the first or second level?
Completely off. The tune unfortunately disabled M TC in my case
