On another note, I'd try a slightly reverse rake setup and slowly adjust the rear up until you get the perfect balance. It should help with cutting out a lot of that oversteer. You might understeer at first, but it should let you throttle more, which I think will suit that car better with the added performance.
@@deesautohouse367 I don't think rake should be a primary tool in tuning car balance because you're not moving much weight around by adjusting it. Personally, my rake is just set to be angled forward a bit based on maximizing downforce (and counteract pitching at high speeds when running a rear wing). I think that changing front/rear roll stiffness is much better for tuning mechanical grip balance. So to make the rear end grip better, a stiffer front swaybar/springs would be good, or a softer rear.
@@frederickschulze8014 Can't argue with your ideas either. I'm just speaking form my experience. I found that changing the rake did help me with being able to accelerate out of the corners more. As we know, there is probably handful of ways to correct it.
love the development on this, and really appreciate you sharing the setup details as you continue to dial in the oversteer! My favorite build on youtube but im biased with a f22c ae86 :)
Grippin and Rippin and by grippin I mean the steering wheel 😂😂😂😂!! I love this AE! I think your follower base will double with the AE86 content. Keep up this amazing work buddy!!
Once the tire starts slipping, you have to reduce the input below normal threshold levels to regain grip, which is why sliding costs you time and grip. Dancing at the threshold level is what makes a driver next level, also, I told you about the radiator, we can improve it's performance aerodynamically, and help the aero of the car in one go.
A struggle for those who are lacking in the talent department. If what others do in life seems hard for you, then by all means, just do what everyone else does and drive a Miata.
Agree, the fastest race cars are effortless to drive, like the Supra and the M2. But this car is not really about being the fastest. It’s about the experience, the raw unassisted driving. It takes effort, finesse, and a lot of mental capacity. This is exactly what I wanted, and one that can train me to be even better as a driver!
What I've learned from this video, is you turn left to go right.

This car looks like the most fun thing to drive!
This car doesn't even need the Ding fling. Love it.

Car control was amazing for an old chassis, this reminds me of the japanese N2 battles!
Just ruining all the tofu... 😂😂
Car looks like a great drive tho, good stuff Jimmy

pls pls pls keep doing the pedal cams!!!
Wow catching the supra in the corners
Jackie sideways so much, we gotta get him some green racing gloves... #babyDK
I think too sideways is somewhere just before "backed it into a wall", so you're good!
How much power are you running?
First of all, THIS SOUNDS SO MUCH COOLER THAN THE M2
Looks like it wants a higher rear roll center.

The JOY!!!!
You silly goose on that drift
Takumi would love your setup💀
Maybe you've got too much lockup on the diff?
Too much rear sway bar?
The Eternal Question: Do I hotboi, or do I go fast? 🤣
You can never be too me
@iracing please add this car thanks.
looks like a struggle

@@curtiscruz8071 weird response but ok. the fastest race cars are the ones that are easiest to drive fast but you do you boo.

i was wondering. You and the rear end. Are you like in some sort of marriage consultation?
