Superb tutorial. No daft music and clear, concise instructions. Now I have complete confidence that I can ruin my own car and save £'s in garage labour.
Best video on supercharger...and I have seen many. I will be using your service kit. One minor correction. You mention in the video and the instructions that there are 4 bolts to remove the water pump where it is attached to the supercharger. I believe there are only 3. This should prevent unnecessary searching for the "ghost bolt". Thanks again for a wonderful video and commentary.
It should be noted that this is performed on a non AC car. Otherwise you'll need to separate the condenser from the radiator assembly before removing radiator and move the condenser to one side on the Flexi hoses.
You all prolly dont give a damn but does anyone know a tool to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost the login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Kaysen Griffin thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Little question, I am very new to Minis and have purchased one recently, is that service something any garage could do ? I live in southern France , and have heard that BMW Mini do not get involved with superchargers, so I am tempted to buy the kit online and find someone to do it, but it seems like quite a task... Thank you very much in advance
You can't fully remove the rad assembly unless you degas and remove the condenser, but you can leave that all connected and just hang the front end forward to get enough clearance to work. Disconnect the rad top hose and it should tip forward OK. Stick a couple of long bolts where the alloy bumper mounts and you can rehang the assembly when you're not working.
@@graemesayer3068 You CAN fully remove the radiator. Just unbolt the condenser leaving the hoses connected. It can be hung down to the side and the the radiator assembly removed. Plenty of videos on this including Mod Mini and Wheeler Dealers..

Thank you for the great feedback! - Georgina, X8R Ltd
You don't need to remove the entire wheel well liner btw; just the connections to the front bumper.

Hi Ryan, that is a very good point! - Georgina, X8R Ltd
Great video. Buy it is highly recommended to replace the knock sensor as well before putting it all back together.
