I'm glad you hit on perfectionism. Because I have a friend that quotes Ellen White perfectionism quotes and they do sound very much like you have to work for your salvation or that you have to be perfect in order to be saved. I forget what the quotes are but I had no answer for him and I feel bad about that.
The answer happened at the cross.. and Christians already know it... And that's why SDA is not saved!. And they're never going to come perfection! because they didn't trust the real Jesus of Hebrews 7:13.! Because if he's cleansing a dirty Sanctuary in 1844 he never forgave anyone. Once you experience that forgiveness you can answer that! Just a few things to consider. Jesus call to perfection is in the context of loving our enemies and praying (interceding) for them. You mentioned God calling Job perfect and in the end, what does he do for his friends? In the end, hate will be perfected in Satan’s people while God’s people fulfill Proverbs 25:21-22. It is in persecuting those whose lives fully express the love of God that pushes them beyond hope of redemption. And the plagues follow. And notice ho t the plagues are delivered by and the mode of delivery. In the sanctuary, the golden vessels were for drink offerings which represent the redemptive blood of Jesus. What did Paul say of those who partake in an unworthy manner? Also noteworthy is the parallel with Belshazzar’s feast where he and his nobles drank from those same vessels (figuratively speaking). One more idea is that since the plagues employ sanctuary imagery of the very end, what is the parallel in the sanctuary service? Could it be that in the day of atonement, God’s people are perfected in their intercession for their enemies and instead of accusing them, acknowledge that their persecutors know not that it is the Scapegoat who is actuating them?
Speaking of Revelation 14:5 “And no lie was found in their mouth; they are blameless.” Compare it with James 3:2 “For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to bridle the whole body as well.”

For as long as the the saints have flesh and blood, they will need the covering of the blood of the Lamb. Only, when the the saints have been change to immortal beings and only then will the 144000 be perfected. It is the garment of Christ, which is his righteousness of God will keep them at the end of probation. Flesh and blood Saints will need to keep on this garment to be earthly perfected.
Where does it say that you're the 144,000. That's not you in Revelation 12! Why do those people say where did you get these wounds in Zechariah chapter 13. The 1/3 that have the seal of God in the 2/3 that go through the Great tribulation through the fire at the end. Is that you?

You're not understanding why the devil got kicked out of heaven and heaven was happy in Revelation 12 and the space from there to the end is at least 1,260 days so what's going on in heaven in that space of time and what's going on on the earth in that space of time

The concept of the close of probation comes from Revelation 18:4. God is warning His people to come out of Babylon and not receive of her plagues. As there was a similar message to Noah when He built and went into the ark, also with Lot as he left Sodom, likewise God is giving people a message and time before the 7 last plagues. As Jason pointed out, the whole of scripture, especially that dealing with the last days, has to do with perfection of character in one direction or the other. Those who have perfected their character in rebellion, would find it torture to dwell in the presence of righteousness. And those who have perfected their character in righteousness, refuse all temptation to sin. I would say even to the point of preferring death rather than to commit sin. Perfectionism infers that all temptation has been removed from the flesh, which doesn't happen in this life. Seventh Day Adventism doesn't teach this and truthfully, I do see this in Predestination or OSAS!

Because I have a friend that quotes Ellen White perfectionism quotes and they do sound very much like you have to work for your salvation or that you have to be perfect in order to be saved. I forget what the quotes are but I had no answer for him and I feel bad about that.
The answer happened at the cross.. and Christians already know it... And that's why SDA is not saved!. And they're never going to come perfection! because they didn't trust the real Jesus of Hebrews 7:13.! Because if he's cleansing a dirty Sanctuary in 1844 he never forgave anyone. Just a few things to consider. Jesus call to perfection is in the context of loving our enemies and praying (interceding) for them. You mentioned God calling Job perfect and in the end, what does he do for his friends?
In the end, hate will be perfected in Satan’s people while God’s people fulfill Proverbs 25:21-22. It is in persecuting those whose lives fully express the love of God that pushes them beyond hope of redemption. And the plagues follow.
And notice ho t the plagues are delivered by and the mode of delivery. In the sanctuary, the golden vessels were for drink offerings which represent the redemptive blood of Jesus. What did Paul say of those who partake in an unworthy manner?
Also noteworthy is the parallel with Belshazzar’s feast where he and his nobles drank from those same vessels (figuratively speaking).
One more idea is that since the plagues employ sanctuary imagery of the very end, what is the parallel in the sanctuary service? Could it be that in the day of atonement, God’s people are perfected in their intercession for their enemies and instead of accusing them, acknowledge that their persecutors know not that it is the Scapegoat who is actuating them?

Only, when the the saints have been change to immortal beings and only then will the 144000 be perfected. It is the garment of Christ, which is his righteousness of God will keep them at the end of probation. Flesh and blood Saints will need to keep on this garment to be earthly perfected.
Where does it say that you're the 144,000. That's not you in Revelation 12! Why do those people say where did you get these wounds in Zechariah chapter 13. The 1/3 that have the seal of God in the 2/3 that go through the Great tribulation through the fire at the end. Is that you?

The concept of the close of probation comes from Revelation 18:4. God is warning His people to come out of Babylon and not receive of her plagues.
As there was a similar message to Noah when He built and went into the ark, also with Lot as he left Sodom, likewise God is giving people a message and time before the 7 last plagues. Today if we hear His voice we should obey.

As Jason pointed out, the whole of scripture, especially that dealing with the last days, has to do with perfection of character in one direction or the other. Those who have perfected their character in rebellion, would find it torture to dwell in the presence of righteousness. And those who have perfected their character in righteousness, refuse all temptation to sin. I would say even to the point of preferring death rather than to commit sin. Perfectionism infers that all temptation has been removed from the flesh, which doesn't happen in this life. Seventh Day Adventism doesn't teach this and truthfully, I do see this in Predestination or OSAS!

You got to realize where you're at. when that happens and why it happens... The (saints don't need a mediator) in that space of time and there is none there for you!
