Such a development could also make for a very poignant moment in the future where heroes must subject themselves to an audience with King M'Baku to plead their case for an emergency use of Vibranium to handle a high-level threat, giving this far better actor than the franchise deserves more screen time, and even more opportunity to show off the layers of the character, while also presenting opportunities for compromise, despite how rare and difficult they are.

Lasers don't work underwater, so underwater bikes with laser-canons is out. But they do have VIBRANIUM, a metal known for its ability to generate and absorb vibrations. A sub coated in the stuff would be invisible in the depths, whole a Vibranium depth-charge would be the end of their fish problem.
Vibranium has the ability to absorb kinetic energy very well, but it has its limits. Which is why Wakandans use Sonic tech (explained in the first film) to mine it, as once you find the right resonance frequency you can get a material to basically fall apart on its own. This is a real world issue which is why soldiers in the past have been given orders to march across bridges out of lockstep, as there have been cases where marching across in lockstep has caused a resonance that made bridges fall apart. Early Wakandans would have done something different, like building a furnace around outlying bits of Vibranium to simply heat it to its melting point to flow into a cast. Just because it absorbs kinetic energy very well does not mean it can do the same to thermal.
Lasers dont work very well the thicker the medium they have to travel through. The better idea would be coilguns as vibranium has special magnetic properties that make it perfect for it.
I haven't seen the movie and don't plan to. But wasn't it Wakandan tradition that when the previous black panther dies it goes to the next of kin but any of the other tribes can elect a champion or another member of the royale family can challenge the next ruler to 1v1 combat to become the next black Panther? Did they just skip over this? Did no one challenge her? Did she beat them all of screen? Cause the last 2 I find hard to belive. She's not particularly strong and she fought with guns which It doesn't look like you could use in the combat trial so I don't believe she could beat the other champions without the purple drink which you aren't allowed to have during the trial. She also came off as way more immature than Tchalla so I don't believe Mbaku who challenged him wouldn't challenge her
When T’Challa died there were no more of the sacred herbs/flowers so there couldn’t be a new Black Panther. It’s somewhat unclear if the combat challenge would strictly apply to a new monarch when there is no ability for a new Panther to emerge. Queen Ramona seemed to be allowed to rule based off mutual consensus. After she is killed Shuri is able to make a synthetic version of the plant to become the Black Panther. Since she makes the potion she gets to make the rules and she has never really liked tradition anyway. She and M’Baku have a meeting where he tells her that he trusts her and he promised T’Challa he would take care of her. The end of the movie suggest that Shuri will carry the mantle of Black Panther separately and that M’Baku will become King. However this is likely only for a short time as T’Challa’s son is likely going to be crowned both King and Black Panther in the future. The destruction of the flowers essentially means Wakanda is freed from that tradition and can make whatever changes they desire going forward. Either way M’Baku and Shuri are working together as a team and no one else is going to dare challenge them.
@@zxyatiywariii8 didn't watch the film, but from the sound of it they didn't mean to make him a hero, they were probably trying to be all like "look at this toxic masculinity, patriarchy, chauvinist

Better topic would be the change of leadership back to the original woke ceo just before things were about to go back to being based at Disney studios, all because of people placating to the alt left employees instead of the actual shareholders *sigh*
Fiction tension.... Here is a wise, strong leader. Now this is the king or queen. They are not a leader. However their title holds more authority than the wise, strong leader
Thus BP2 has a Mary Sue for a leader and is the same as the last SW movies lol. M-SHE-U indeed and have you seen how bulky Namor is in those scenes in comparison to her?
I can empathise. Personally, I think because it's becoming a code word for black supremacy. Wakanda as an idea is now prevalent as a black empowerment fantasy, which has dire social and cultural impact given the racial grievances and identity politics that are going on and around.
Everybody was colonizing back then, it hardly meant anything, unless you were forcefully displacing people. Which mind you the natives were more than happy to have the white man kill off their more aggressive neighbors.
M’Baku was the best part of the movie and he was criminally under used. I also hated the way Shuri just bitched him out towards the end and he let her?? Like yeah help her if you want but at least tell her to watch her fuckin mouth or something damn😂 what were the writers thinking there??
Vibranium is straight out of a comic book written and illustrated by people who either don’t know science or don’t give a damn about it, aimed at people too effing stupid to understand anything resembling science. Where would vibranium be on the periodic table of elements if it existed? Would any isotope of it be stable? Seriously? It would be more plausible if it were entirely magical. Truly it would.
im confused. what makes Martin Freeman a colonizer? Wakanda was never colonized. In fact, they actively resisted helping other nations being colonized.
I can see for several reasons why shuri gave up the reign and gave the position to baku for one baku has leadership skills of since he leads the Jabari tribe and baku has shown strength fearlessness on the battlefield and has been wakandas closet Allie plus shuri knows she can't rule a kingdom because a woman on the throne will not only show how weak and powerless Wakanda is but it would be abhorrent morbid and disgust to see a weak girl on the throne it would either lead to civil war or other tribes scattered across land would rebel but with baku on the throne a man peopl and other tribes fear respect and has shown strength against his enemies Wakanda would be safe
Why M'Baku is deserving of Kingship and Black Panther mantle? First film Saved the T'Challa when he would be dead otherwise. And took his side against a genocidal maniac. (Honestly can't remember much from BP1 so they may more stand out stuff) Second film Is shown to be level headed when faced with Namor Tries to save as many people as possible during the assault and TANKS Namor's punch that broke his armour. Most people would be dead but he handles it like a champ. He tries to keep Shuri from becoming like Killmonger, only plot contrivance really stops her let's be frank. He's also really charismatic and has a great deal of loyalty. But these directors would rather huff their own egos than give us a black panther that has earned the mantle.
M'Baku is the kind of guy to say, "Just because I am a battle-hardened warrior doesn't mean I am _stupid."_

I must've misheard M'Baku, I understood it as 'your actions affect your people and a war would be too much for them to bare'
M'Baku is GOATed
Didn't know you guys were this good at breaking down the problems with comics and movies.
I'll look forward to seeing you guys do more of these videos.
Why is "man-ape" racist? If people likened me to a fuckin' ape or gorilla, due to my physical ability, I would in no way be offended.
Brute is more of a compliment than an insult. Being called a gorilla should be the same.
Easly best character
Lasers don't work underwater, so underwater bikes with laser-canons is out. But they do have VIBRANIUM, a metal known for its ability to generate and absorb vibrations. A sub coated in the stuff would be invisible in the depths, whole a Vibranium depth-charge would be the end of their fish problem.
How did wakanda ever mine and manipulate vibranium or what ever its called.
Wokeness supplied them.
The writers read Guns, Germs, and Steel and believed it I guess
Atleast give him some purple synthetic flower power!!!
@@TGuard00014 Gotcha thanks I was wondering how that all was going to work out.
@@TGuard00014 if you can make a synthetic version of the potion, what stops you from giving it to every soldier to make the strongest army?

The funny part is that he's a villain in the comics.
His villain name is man ape 🤣🤣
@@obviouslyasockpuppet maybe give him a cool hero name like Silverback or Kingo Kongo
Remember, Wokeists prefer villains to heroes.
@@zxyatiywariii8 didn't watch the film, but from the sound of it they didn't mean to make him a hero, they were probably trying to be all like "look at this toxic masculinity, patriarchy, chauvinist

This guy saved the day many times in the BP series. He made so much sense even with the writing against him
Bruh they literally made him king.....
I did hear rumour that they were making M’Baku king then it changed to Shuri 😞
Man ape isn't racist unless you think black are gorillas.
How is man ape racist but black panther not?
I almost want to watch this movie just for M’Baku.
Do not fall for the trap.
I always liked M'Baku, he was cool lol.
💥
Based
Everyone talking about M'Baku, but no one talking about M'Bublio? OR even M'bongo?
I am down for this. M'Baku for king.
@1:55 Chris Rock has entered the chat.
Namor?
You mean, Nuhmoorrrr
What’s his name is single handedly keeping turtle necks alive..
I think he’s already confirmed to be the new king. I don’t think shuri wants the throne.
M’Baku for king!
Yeah, when does he get cool gorilla armour?
Wakanda fears God Emporer Doom.
The actor for M'Baku is a really cool dude, Winston Duke.
What name of this filter which video guy puts on top? Very pleasant to see 👍
King Mbaku!!!
Why did they give the not-atlantians vibranium? In the comics, the only other source of vibranium on Earth is in Antarctica.
Because they consider actually having read the comics to be _a bad thing_ for a director.
@@WJS774 Yeah, that's true.
They might as well have said F### the source material.
Thanks for sacrificing yourselves to actually watch this rubbish for us and save us time and money! 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
I feel that they rode the high seas if you know you know
@@matthewsengendo6302 never doubt a second about it.
In the comics M'baku The Man Ape is a bad guy.
But the writers for Marvel literally dont know right from wrong. Its why they made Red Skull tell people to clean their room.
M,BAKU WILL HAVE TO HAVE A SEX CHANGE TO BECOME A MISS BAKU
😂😂😂😂🤣🤣
Every single character in the Black Panther movies are cookie-cutter depictions of woke American racists. Not a one among them deserve to be seen as heroes by any stretch. M'Baku is just the best of a bad bunch...and after the barking scene, that's pretty damning.
He would have to go against his own beliefs to become black panther
He doesn’t have to be a Panther to be King. Let’s not throw out the trial by combat from the first movie.
AY UP LOTUS EATER'S
"Purple drank" XD
I'd like to see ngubu in the next one.
You guys just dont see it the way I do. Out here, across the pond, we see the world through wakanda eyes. We can receive this special glass pipe that helps us clean at 3 am or sell our stuff.
I digress... Once we acquire a magical rock, we can see the magic that you're missing. 😉
I fail to understand how you can have a serious conversation about a marvel movie post Disney's takeover. Let me save you some time, there is no plot.
Story wise he can become King, but he can't be Black Panther.
His tribe don't believe in Bast.
Thus BP2 has a Mary Sue for a leader and is the same as the last SW movies lol. M-SHE-U indeed and have you seen how bulky Namor is in those scenes in comparison to her?
*_Just the sound of the name "Wakanda" makes me nauseous and skin crawl ..._*
It sounds very made up.
I can empathise. Personally, I think because it's becoming a code word for black supremacy. Wakanda as an idea is now prevalent as a black empowerment fantasy, which has dire social and cultural impact given the racial grievances and identity politics that are going on and around.
@@jane---489 lol wut?

Martin Freeman's character is supposed to be American, so I don't know where they get off calling him a colonizer anyway. They're just racist.
Ummm...what? How do you think America came to be, exactly?
@@ComicGladiator The federation of a number of states proclaiming independence from a European power.
Everybody was colonizing back then, it hardly meant anything, unless you were forcefully displacing people.
Which mind you the natives were more than happy to have the white man kill off their more aggressive neighbors.
@@ComicGladiator The same way Wakanda came to be, killing the locals.
@Irenaeus of Lyons He works for the CIA though so
M’Baku was the best part of the movie and he was criminally under used. I also hated the way Shuri just bitched him out towards the end and he let her?? Like yeah help her if you want but at least tell her to watch her fuckin mouth or something damn😂 what were the writers thinking there??
I was trying to explain this to my kid but he doesn't understand for whatever reason.
If they ever make a movie with M'baku they will have to call it man ape. The actual title of his comic character.
Make a video about the Waitrose ad
Vibranium is straight out of a comic book written and illustrated by people who either don’t know science or don’t give a damn about it, aimed at people too effing stupid to understand anything resembling science.
Where would vibranium be on the periodic table of elements if it existed? Would any isotope of it be stable? Seriously?
It would be more plausible if it were entirely magical. Truly it would.
im confused. what makes Martin Freeman a colonizer? Wakanda was never colonized. In fact, they actively resisted helping other nations being colonized.
M'baku was a villain in Marvel Comics.
M'baku worships the Gorilla god not the Panther god.
Is this the casual section of the LE
Why M'Baku is deserving of Kingship and Black Panther mantle?
First film
Saved the T'Challa when he would be dead otherwise. And took his side against a genocidal maniac. (Honestly can't remember much from BP1 so they may more stand out stuff)
Second film
Is shown to be level headed when faced with Namor
Tries to save as many people as possible during the assault and TANKS Namor's punch that broke his armour.
Why were the Avengers not at the Funeral...?
Answer: Marvel doesn't care about continuity anymore.
Maybey mbaku can be king while shuri is only black panther as a protector. If thats not a fair compromise what is
