what's always worked for me on Magnum XL 200 is to tighten my seatbelt as much as possible so that my lapbar never touched me and is the real secondary restraint.
I've never had pain on that ride because of this.

That review about Indiana Beach really grinds my gears. Its a great charming little park. Not to mention that they are adding 2, get this, TWO new coasters next year.

The rise of the machines. idk, T2 the ride wasn't better with the old seating, but Judgement Day was the better movie.
Mount Olympus is my home park I’ve been there well over 15 times. I really don’t agree with the whole safety stereotype. The only thing I can think of is it’s super easy to position your legs so when they check you you can get a ton of room. Which I wish more parks did
I wore the trademarked block zone shirt from Eltororyan to Cedar Point, the ride op for Millie said you must be and airtime fan. He pushed until he heard one click and let it ride. It was the most insane ride I've ever had. I had to have been a full 6 inches out of my seat for most of the ride.

I am a minor, but I agree with Sarah. Children can ruin the experience at any park
Children can sadly be little shits depending on the parents and we were all children at one point
GASM was actually smoother back in the day. So much so SFOG ran the trains backwards during a promotional period for spring break (early 90’s). I’ve unbuckled my seatbelt while in the last row to get crazy ejector airtime on the hills coming back to the station. Now, I think the ride should be sponsored by a chiropractor. I’ve been less injured in car accidents
Imagine giving one star to some of the best amusement/theme parks in the world just because you didn't like the meal you ordered...
I have once seen a review on Black Mamba complaining about the danger of being hit by a plant
1:07 When I was at SFNE I could smell that someone was smoking a whole lot of weed around the Superman station.

Today I went to Hersheypark and there were several cops putting every single person there in handcuffs. I only just managed to escape and I'm now wanted in 17 states. Damn you, Yelp reviewer.
And two Canadian provinces
I started dying when they said I'll fight a minor 🤣
Note that GP's will "The" everything so therefore saying "The X2" is a prime example of that

I actually agree with the Magnum review. It has great airtime, but those cursed lap bars kill the ride for me

So many one-star reviews on Google Maps are "remember it being good but was closed when I went" or "ride broke down, this shouldn't happen in a major park!"

Fun fact: Hersheypark is owned by the Hershey Trust Company, which is a non-profit. Because of a 2013 consent decree, following some alleged shenanigans at the trust, the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office has a fair degree of oversight over the Board of the trust, and in 2016 even tried to have several Board members removed. Not sure if that had anything with complaints from Yelp reviewers of Hersheypark or not, though...

On that Yelp Magnum XL 200 review... That is a 5⭐ review, but I'm used to the pain, I'm a masochist for fast pass and Magic Seat rides on Magnum.

I could get behind a park having a "No kids" day. Actually, I believe that any business that offers a "kids eat free" or "Buy One Adult ticket/meal, get a kid ticket/meal for free/half price" day should also be legally required to offer an ADULTS ONLY day.

You see it when ur driving into the park, there is no way in hell you could not know what ur getting into before getting on. You are literally laying on your back looking straight up as you start the lift hill which goes right over the queue

That review of Valleyfair (my home park) was seriously so stupid. Saying there's no management and then later saying that the management needs to improve. They claim it's chaos, but really what do you expect at a theme park? I'm just so confused about what they're saying. It's one of Cedar Fair's smaller parks, it doesn't get a ton of attention but it's a nice park that's mostly visited by locals.
The ice cream person at knotts was Joe Biden on one of his better days lol.

I'd like to have a no unaccompanied minors day every Wednesday at any big park that basically only has one real exit. Mainly so the not parented youth or ignorant morons who feel let off the leash can not bother me. Never was 1/2 as immature and downright stupid/ignorant as most I see (and no I'm not 100%, I'm not even 30).
I believe kennywood has a chaperone policy past a certain time, so kinda sorta a no kid day😂
I disagree. A chaperone policy doesn’t remove the kids from the park, which is what that reviewer was jonesing for
Who hates Hershey park 😭😭 I’ve been going all the time for years. And its nothing short of wonderful. Best home park to have
im brazillian and i never been to hersheypark but like every single park in the world except for the disney ones and universal ones in orlando are in my bucket list (i went to disney in 2017 it was a once in a lifetime experience)

I'm actually starting to think those parks and whom might follow not allowing unaccompanied minors to walk around a park MIGHT be a good thing.
While I understand it comes with issues (a lot of which I think could be worked out), it's pretty much fact most idiotic behavior/altercations come from teens using being in a place they don't expect to get penalized (and they usually just get kicked out of the line if someone decides to do there job that is) cause there not home or whatever.
@@oneandonlysound3453 I'm a teen so obviously if I wasn't aloud at an amusement park I'd be upset (I'm an enthusiast). However, I go to high school and my school is full of chaotic, idiotic, careless and clueless teens. Most amusement parks are crowded by teens, but if teens won't actually buy anything and will be chaotic, select days/nights for people 18+ is reasonable. I'm in a bad situation since I'm a teen and it impacts me, but I would see why amusement parks wouldn't allow kids at times.
