    One of my favorite things from Total Annihilation was the Narrator's voice. I could listen to that guy read a dictionary out loud all day. Well, maybe not a dictionary. Ender's Game more likely.

    Had to build a base on the ledge to the left, built one Kbot factory to pump out lots of Jethros (until my Hawks were up) + 2 energy storage + moho extractor + fusion plant + multiple Annihilators. Then I built 3 advanced airfields and pumped out hundreds of Hawks circling my base - that made my base invulnerable. Then, I cloaked my commander and sent him walking toward the main island, D-guned the anti-missile launcher and then had him WALK round the map spotting for the Kroggies

    • @HeavenlyWarrior
      @HeavenlyWarrior Год назад +2

      Cool.
      I managed to survive down the ledge by building dragons tooth on the right to stop side attacks, so they could only attack in the front where a big army and some annihilators were waiting; but built aircraft factories on the ledge to save space down and did like 10 big berthas to fire against incoming krogoths and like 5 annihilators and 5 guardians. I did many spiders along with bulldogs to fight krogoths early game I even captured some krogoths because they were paralyzed. I also did a ton of defenders against their heavy aircraft assaults and 2 nukes. Finally, when most of their base was down I sent a captured Krogoth to destroy the rest and I found their remaining enemy Krogoth so it was Krogoth vs Krogoth final fight, mine won with like 20 aircraft constructers repairing my Krogoth while he fought :D

  • @LCVII
    @LCVII 2 года назад +4

    Surround Kroggies with Spiders and capture them. However, even if you try to use three or four of them at once you still won't be able to take down the main island. They work well was walking defensive element for the troops, though.

    • @LCVII

      Arm never cessed to be composed of humans. It used cloning to make pilots for their units. In my opinion, not much better than forcibly transferring human consciousness into machines. • @H4mmerfall
    @H4mmerfall 11 лет назад +7

    You know why this mission is hard? Its because you are handicapped. You cannot build the tier2 AA gun (Flakker). You just can't.
    Korgoths die easily to D-Gun, you just have to intercept them with fodder of light units and your commander.
    Enemy air squadrons, however, cannot be stopped. You are guaranteed to loose your fusion plant and half a base in the air raid just after the first korgoth attack. I had a gazzilion of tier1 AA units and towers. Still undoable.
    Its not hard, just cheap.

  • @dsargent724
    @dsargent724 8 лет назад +3

    The only way to beat this mission is to slowly spread east, building anti-air along the way and D-Gun any Krogoths from a distance. Then, scout the map to find the Krogoth facility and nuke it to a crater.

    Skillful? Tactical? Not sure about that. Just a couple hundred Jethro's, 6 airports worth of Brawlers and Hawks, 3 nuke silos firing upwards of 30 missiles each, and several hours. Honestly if you manage to stabilize past the first hour, you're pretty much set, it's just down to assaulting the island, which is basically impossible without nukes.
    How do you deal with the anti-nuke array they have? Just stock up a dozen missiles and keep firing until they run out of counter-nukes.
    Finally beat this mission after having this game for years. Honestly it was kind of dull, just because of how huge the map was.
