David, You could always add inexpensive weather stripping around the gaps of the terrarium. They sell it at Walmart and home Depot etc. They come in different thickness for $5 or less!
Great plants! I’ve ordered from similar companies, and I recommend putting them in very high humidity. Depending on the plant, mine kept withering until I realized they were accustomed to high humidity.
Your Golden Zebra fern is GORGEOUS! I've never seen them before. I can't wait to see that and the Philodendron Veitchii grow! Tiger ferns are so beautiful too. Didn't you have a big one before? I had the P. Veitchii from The Green Escape in my shopping bag on Etsy too! Lol They are sooo cool when mature. I wish you lots of planty luck in growing them out! I crack up when you do that Madea " Hel-urr" HAHAHA! You do it sooo well! Lol I love the Madea movies. Hi Valentino! We love you! Lol 🐱🧡
Honestly, this community has taught me so much 💕🪴✨ y’all are amazing, and thank you for letting me be myself. Usually, in a traditional Hispanic culture a man showing too much emotion is bad 💀 but y'all are awesome so thank you for that 💚 and yeshhhh can’t wait for spring.
I leave them in their peat pod, and soak them in water/SuperThrive for a bit. Then I place them into a plastic cup with perlite. Put water into the cup, about 1/4 of the way. I place this into a plastic storage container from Walmart. My plants have done well. Good luck 🎉
anthuriums are so rewarding to grow. they size up so fast. I grow mine in pon too and they love it. I also place some sphagnum moss around the stem so the areal roots can grow in to the pot, it helps the plant to grow faster. Me and my mother are exactly the same too. 🥰
You’re making me laugh so hard. “Am I cool now??” 😂 that’s how I feel sometimes lmao Also, I have the same terrarium! I use them for small plants. I bought one of those small organizing trays to fit at the bottom so water doesn’t drip!
I love that your wishlistplants are not just a monstera variegata but ferns! I love ferns and its oretty hard to find other fern lover! The plants are BEAUTIFULL.
I'm gonna be looking forward to seeing these cute little baby plants grow 🪴 I know they are gonna be as amazing as your other beautiful plants ☘️ I love seeing the changes as plants grow and mature 😊 and I'm not kiddin I jump for joy every time that I see a new leaf emerging LOVE all your wonderful videos ❤ DIOS LOS BENDIGA 🙏
Hi David! I think you’ll enjoy growing your ghost. They are pretty easy going and don’t have to be on a pole to continue putting out larger leaf sizes. You can use a garden stake and it will be happy or even let it trail and grow wild 💚 Enjoy your new babes! A nice thing with the Ferns being so small you can put them in like a sauce or jelly jar with some sphagnum moss and they can grow out a bit with lots of humidity 😊
David for your cute terrarium just get some clear caulk from home depot like for sealing bathtubs and sinks and it wont leak but still you should get a liner so metal wont corrode ....😊
Nice. I have ordered from green escape before. Their seedlings can be very small. But they also can be quite large the luck of the draw I guess. Enjoy your babies!
I hope they do well for you. Really cute! I did two orders from them and let me just say the first was great... the second... I'm just going to say no. I won't say I will not ever order from them again but after that second order no. It was beyond disappointing and this was a well over 100 dollar order.
Decided to watch and I heard soltech is really good but I feel it’s too expensive for me at the moment. Also I don’t care to use a light meter it just makes no sense to me to use. I give my plants plenty of natural light and I have some barrina grow lights which my plants appreciate. Thanks for sharing. Maybe one day I’ll look into soltech but I rather just have nice big windows to provide natural lighting.
I started getting into Anthuriums lately as well and been purchasing a few seedling anthuriums. My current set up for them works really well for me and I’ve seen their roots continue to grow healthy, fuzzy, and thick! My medium for anthuriums right now is: moss+perlite. I add akadama as a top dresser because it helps me keep track of the plant’s watering needs. Akadama turns dark when the medium is moist/wet but then turns back to a pale brown when the medium is no longer moist/wet. Whenever I see the akadama has become dry, I water the anthurium until I see a thin layer of water start to build up at the bottom (I use no drainage clear containers and I take my time making sure the moss soaks up enough water). Having a tiny bit of water stuck at the bottom seems to help so I just leave it in. So far (it’s been about three months) none of my anthuriums have complained, perished or fell ill. It definitely helped with acclimating them to their new environment. I live in Texas, zone 8b, and I have my anthuriums of all sizes ( 1 tiny leafers from seeds to four leafers) sitting near an east facing window where, during the afternoon, gets shade, morning sun. Additional light would probably help more but I have them sitting at my desk so limited space haha. Also, akadama does amazingly well with succulents too! I love akadama. Best of luck with your King Anthurium!!! 💛

I hope they all do great. The Florida ghost is one of my favorites. I have one and it is growing pretty fast now.

I always order from them. Always such cute starter plants. I’m waiting on a jewel orchid and a ficus black price.

Your facial expressions and spontaneous behaviour always makes me laugh. Love your content, just always be you❤
I got my mint chost last night from another etsy shop and I'm so excited for it to grow bigger! Congrats on the new little babies!
I love buying starter plants as well 🙂 You’re right, it’s very rewarding to know that you helped it reach its full potential. New subbie here!

Ouuuuu 👁️👄👁️ I can’t believe I didn’t thought of that. Thank you! 💚🪴 Gonna add that to the spring list ✨

Yes, is a no for me too.
The ghost leaves come in white, go to mint and then green. They don’t melt away like other white leaves. Enjoy.
Cute plants and a cutie voice.
That zebra is unique
So small, hehe and cute! I’d be scared to grow them from so small. Hard to keep them happy n healthy. But, go you!!
😻🐈🌿😻🐈💚

You should keep both just in case one doesn’t acclimate well you have your other insurance plane :)
True true, but what if mama takes better care of it and I can propagate it 👁️👄👁️ if mine does. Like she gives me a cutting or the other way around 💚

lol Valentino = gorgeous, cat breath = not gorgeous ❤
Exactly 😂🤣
Are they tissue culture?
I think so, they are so small and these cost a lot back in the day…now they are cheap. Or seeds but I hardly think so.
Now I know why they were so cheap bc the size of those chile 😳🙄

Don’t worry about that no one is saying that if they are so what it’s your money. Valentino needs to take a nap.
Girl he be getting to vocal.
