What do you mean by its 50 years old? Audio quality and mastering was better 50 years ago before the loudness wars. This is not video where bluray is better than VHS.
I was Introduced to this band/song by a classmate in high school in the mid 80's by friend of mine which grew up in the south and introduced me to some KICK your AZZ music. We were growing up along the north shore..New Trier, Winnetka, IL to be exact. Anyhow, we were also watching Apocalypse NOW at the same time. I had the movie transferred from vinyl to tape. We drove his mother's Celica GT with a sunroof during the hot summer nights listening to the Heart of Darkness with Franis Ford... It was the perfect way to enjoy music, movies, Mary Jane, and the moment..
That's one awesome song from the Doors...... Who knows what would have happened if Jim Morrison would have lived today and witness the many changes in the music industry...... This was one awesome song.... I have the short version of this song...... I have a difficult time looking for the album or the cds...... I wish they played this kind of music in all radio stations, but I'm lucky enough to listen to classic rock music on the radio today.... There's very little of this kind of music today and it is very sad.... Music today doesn't compare to the classic music of yesteryear........

Wow that sounds awesome. My favourite Doors album. From the first drum beats of The Changeling to the stormy ending of Riders On The Storm the whole album is a masterpiece. We lost Jim too soon.

Vynil always was better than CDs, it's my dumb generation and the previous one fault if nobody noticed. Vinyls always had that something more than the CD: the dust, the bumps, the fear of ruining it, risking to ruin the sound of your favorite albums and songs. Yeah, armonic distortion, but the emotions that the now lost huge Hi-Fis gave us, with all included (vinyl support, CD, radio, Jack cable, and cassettes), with those exaggerated big speakers, never could be neared by those tiny smart speakers we filled our houses of, digital is nice, is the new tech, I get it. But, would groups like The Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Doors have had the same success if they started publishing on SoundCloud in 2005, maybe divided by random ads? Of course not. Sorry for the kind of info-dumping comment, my brain works like that.
Playing on a vintage Yamaha A-400 hooked to a Wharfedale Rubiance RB-21AC bookshelf speakers. Fed by a SMSL MB100 MKII dac from the pc. Simply amazing sound even though it was compressed to a youtube video. I never gave a shit about vinyl's until now. I am going to download few vinyl rips. (Not rich enough to own real vinyl and turn tables lol)

Bruce Botnick/The Doors, coproducción en la recreación del interior Morrison, L.A. Woman y aquí termina... todo, 'Riders On The Storm', 'Jinetes en la Tormenta', cadencia, penetración, éxtasis, The Doors, Idea Musical (LGS).
Once you hear the whisper in the back ground you won't listen to it the same ever again, Jim you legend
Playing this in honor of my father in law I lost 2 years ago. Today is his birthday. And...it's storming here.
Wow. Soulful, Jazzy, poetic and melancholy. Does it get better than this? America at its finest.
one of the best songs of the 70s
Also great sound. Vinyl mastering is like no other. Even over RUclips.
How appropriate! I just rode out Milton in Tampa! Had to follow Pink Floyd's advice, got "Comfortaly Numb" , had to!!!
Everytime I search " vinyl rip" ,here I am .
goosebump all over my body every time i hear this song, amazing song
I love the sound of vinyl, it's like it's part of the music ❤️
Again an UNBELIEVABLE fresh HQ-sound. Don't forget that this song is 50 years old...YOU ARE GREAT Phil...Keep up the good works!

I envy all those past generations; they were very fortunate despite the many who now try to deceive us by claiming that everything is better now.
yes everything is better but money greed makes everything worse that ever
Densmore’s drumming is just awesome on this track ,his drum sound is so old school perfect for this band . Damn 🥁😎
Excellent song. I love this song. Beautiful song ❤️👍
accurate and high quality....I can hear the rain drops hitting the asphalt .....
Great sound. The drumming is understated on this mainly because the Rhodes bass guitar and vocals are also outstanding.
Jerry Scheff - bass guitar
I can't tell you how good this sounds!
Makes me think of being on a heuy heading into the jungle in nam... When fresh. Awesome song.
Incredibly clean. Thanks for the upload.

Jim Morrison is not dead - he is currently working at a McDonalds in Paris, near Pere Lachaise...
I think he's now working at that diner in Minnesota that Elvis goes to.
