    Try shooting off of a large folded towel, or blanket. You are getting bounce using the ball as a rest. I like your testing, a towel will remove the bounce.

    I have to rescope for each ammo.. with air pellets you can’t use a 5/7 grain then a 10-15 grain. And think your x...air pressure will push the different weights the same...I have a7mm sniper rifle. Different weight ammo is always different

    • @joshnorth1
      @joshnorth1 2 года назад +2

      I have to do the same. I thought I was crazy. I was driving tacs with the ultra shock then I switched to gold flights and I was high right. I then switched to gamo rockets and was high right as well. Once I zeroed to each ammo type I was spot on

    Great video man the gold flights and copper domed are kinda ass on my powerline 880 so I prefer crosman pointed or destroyers I also have the daisy pointed but I only use them for my revolver cause the accuracy is not good for rifle hopefully ill get a break barrel in the future but I'm chilling with what I got for now. Also if you're scope is the factory 4x32 I would recommend upgrading to at least a 3-9x32 i bought one at Walmart for 28$ a few months ago and its pretty good has not given me any issues

    I’ve always had the best luck with hollow points. I once saw a video explaining a hollow point will make a natural ideal tip made of air, instead of relying on a solid tip which may explain why they tend to be better than a traditional bullet shape.

  • @handygent45
    @handygent45 Год назад +3

    Take the pellet rifle out of the equation. The accuracy of a pellet depends on the speed. Some pellets work best at certain speeds. Next, the twist rate of the barrel. Some rifles are pellet fussy. And what is good in one rifle does not mean it's good in another.

    Good shooting and video, but actual measurements are from center to center... Not outside to outside.. But once again, GREAT video bro!! My crossman .177 rifle and my bone collector love the hollow point the best..
    And my Gamo Whisper Maxim .22 like the pointed and hollow poinr crossman...
    Someone gave a pack of Ruger pointed in .22 were the worst i have ever used! They are VERY dirty and sub-par accuracy...basically, i havent found a rifle in .177 OR .22 that doesnt like the crossman pointed and hollow point...

      Ihad that problem too, make sure all of your screws are nice and tight and if the problem persists then get new mounts or scope since these old guns with high velocity have a spring and you get a double recoil that really messes with scopes. The 2nd gen are supposed to be a bit better with that

    I didn’t even watch the video yet, but accuracy has a lot to do with different factors. First off, the shooter. Second off, the gun. And last, the pellet. I have a TR77 NP that no one can shoot accurately except me. I’ve shot the gun 1000s of times and I have dime size groups. I like your channel and material but it’s all a matter of these probables. I can have someone who never shot a gun before, shoot one of my custom 2240s and they can drill bullseyes all day. There’s no recoil.

Il n'y a pas de bons ou de mauvais plombs, il y a juste des bons et des mauvais couples "carabine-plomb". Chaque carabine demande des batteries de tests pour savoir quel plomb lui correspond le mieux.
    Donc, faire tout un tas de tests de plombs avec la même carabine ne démontre aucune tendance tangible et ne veut absolument rien dire...
