Tbh this is a problem with charismatics as whole (speaking as a charismatic.) They're so used to hearing criticism and people judging them for their beliefs in the Holy Spirit that they block out any form of criticism. Even if that criticism is right and fair. I think it's a massive blindspot that I pray gets fixed soon.

@@GabrielYYZ It seems to me that modern charismatics have not only inherited the beliefs of our forefathers but also appropriated their struggles. The great Pentecostal figures and the smaller ones alike suffered for the move of the Spirit and because they did so many Christians are open to these things now. We just are not in the same position and want to act like victims.

The sad thing about Mr Hinn's antics over the years is they create a stumbling block for unbelievers who need Christ. Many unsaved use his silly money grabbing sermons and "magic coat" routine to mock Christ.

The bible calls us to call out the deception and lies. THAT is what this video and Mike Winger are doing. The people upset about that either don't have the proper understanding of the bible, or want the prosperity that Benny Hinn "preaches," or would not stand for criticism of themselves so they would not like criticism of anyone. "Live and let live", they would rather have than do the hard thing by bring forth light to the wrongdoing.

Benny literally does the exact opposite. He fleeces widows, he is stained by the world and its fleshly desires and he does not bridle his tongue. He is so decieved, and his sin, the love of money has such a hold he cannot stop the deception. He is like the one who looks in the mirror and immediately forgets who he was looking at. He cannot see himself. He has seared his concious too well.
I don't see Benny Hinn repenting anytime soon.

Benny Hinn looks awful! He looks like he’s in HIS last days. He doesn’t look well.
I don't know if this is the case, but a possible explanation: That Benny Hinn is deeply self-deceived -- that he actually and sincerely believes that God is leading, blessing, prospering and anointing him and his ministry. This would lead him to perceive the "success" of his ministry -- its widespread viewership and influence, as well as the financial donations it receives, as evidence and proof that God is with him, and therefore to view the criticism from people like Wenger and others as "attack from the enemy" to hinder the work of God that he believes his ministry to be accomplishing. Since much of the criticism is focused on the manipulative "plant a seed and God will bless you financially" thing, and since it's clearly worked (to the financial benefit of his ministry) in the past, he would see the criticism of it as a satanic attack to diminish funding necessary to continue and expand the ministry, and so thinking that he is "resisting the devil," he "doubles down" and is doing it even more.

So he made a great show of being contrite and then went right back to doing what he was doing before? Of course, it's Benny Hinn and this is not his first rodeo. The thing is he wouldn't keep doing this if it didn't work for him. Blame Benny Hinn for his duplicity, but blame also has to be assigned to this followers that keep falling for the charade.
Worst times since the days of Adam? Sounds apocalyptic, I'm not sure money would be my primary concern.
The simple solution is Benny Hinn actually believes these things to be true and everyone is attributing to him motivation that he really doesn't have.

Countless false prophecies over the years and I'm talking decades, countless scams asking people to give their last dollar point blank saying even if that's all you have left send it to me and God will bless you etc., he has said he has healed people that he didn't over and over again. You should see some of the footage from these despairing and desperate people who brought their sick and dying kids to him with the promise of healing being told they were healed but not. It's darkness in its purest form and he's been doing it for decades. Heartbroken people who are desperate send him all they have to get a healing or believing that God will turn things around but then loose everything. I have my own horror encounters and stories of him taking advantage of my grandmother's desperation sending so much money to him then taking me as a teen to be healed by him. I wasn't just like the majority of people there even though he had actors acting and then he lied and said he healed people but they tried to say no it wasn't gone but he was off to the next person after making sure they gave him money. I saw the devastation first hand.
If you actually watch Mike Winger's full expose and I think it's Jeremy something did one too where he showed up at one and helped some of the people who spent all their money to get there and gave the last as he said and the hopelessness breaks your heart. If he truly believed in God the way he says he could never hurt and take advantage of all these people and every single time he says he did wrong and he will stop he is always right back to asking people to give to him to get something from God. That's not how it works.
Not sure “Bless God” is that an appropriate phrasing. Unless it’s asking God to bless.
