@@robertwilken9542 I've done a lot of research on the subject of UV light as well as Ozone. UVC light is damaging to fabrics, and plastics and will cause fading to materials. Also it is harmful to your skin and eyes. Ozone can cause lung damage and respiratory issues. It will also weaken certain plastics and materials

I didn’t know that ozone was bad for you. Is ozone the smell that it puts out? I just bought a uvlizer and now i regret it, because it has ozone. What can I do?

Great questions, I am not sure!!

The ozone that comes from the Uvilizer converts into oxygen after time. You wait 45-60 minutes after shut off for the ozone to disappear. It says it on the Uvlizer description. Open windows or doors to get outside air in to refresh the air and circulate it and you're good to go. No worries about the "ozone factor" if you bought a non ozone free sterilizer light. Enjoy!
