@@KetoMealsandRecipes thank your so much! Same to you😁 Ive never made a pumpking one(so i'm very excited!) I've always made one for Christmas. Will you have a recipe for a Christmas roll? Or could I use this same recipe?
Hi Jeimi! I would love to make a buche de noel/Yule log this year, but I'm not sure I'll have time before Christmas. However, I do have a chocolate roll - here is the link, in case I don't get the new one up: ruclips.net/video/jUKDEW-6JvI/видео.html Have a great day!
Hi Thu Trà Nguyễn! I am glad that you like the recipe. Hopefully you and your mate will be able to share together some home-cooked meals during the holidays! It is always nice to hear from you - I hope that all is well down under! Cheers!
Hi Susanne! I would like to thank you VERY much for noticing the missing butter, and letting me know right away... You are absolutely correct - I forgot to write in the butter. I have fixed the written recipe, and the macros that go with it. By the way, the amount of butter was 114 grams (1 stick or 1/4 lb). I'm glad that you like the recipe and, again, I want you to know that I greatly appreciate the time you took to let me know of the omission in the recipe. Have a great evening - Cheers!
@@KetoMealsandRecipes your welcome😁 I am new on your channel and love all the recipes. It is great you say or write in celsius and grams. I live in Germany and we use it here. Thanks a lot and have a great weekend 👍👍
Hi Susanne! Welcome to my channel! Here in Canada, we use grams as well, but because we are so close to the U.S. we do use imperial measure as well. When I bake, I always prefer to use grams for more accurate measurement, and therefore better results. Thank you for your good wishes, and all the best to you as well! Cheers!
Ciao Eleonora! Grazie - sono contento che ti piaccia il mio canale, e sto pensando di guardare molte delle tue ricette, per supportare il tuo canale e le tue buone ricette, e anche perché mi aiuta a migliorare il mio italiano! Dove vivi in Italia? Teniamoci in contatto. buona giornata! Saluti!
Ciao Eleonora! Stai bene - Salute!
Amazing! Thank you so much for all the great tips. I love that this can be made and frozen ahead of time for Christmas or another special event! Will definitely be trying this. I have a similar recipe, not keto and I cannot wait to try your recipe
Hi Lisa! I would highly recommend that you do use glucomannan because, as you know, nut and seed flours do not have gluten. Gluten is the substance in wheat that keeps your baking from falling apart. Glucomannan/konjac root powder behaves like a binding agent, so that your cake will roll and not crack all the way through and fall apart. For best results, I believe that you must use glucomannan/konjac root powder. Here is a link to the product that I find works really well for me: amzn.to/2lRApNA Happy baking!
Hi Bev! You must use a thickening agent for best texture, since nut flours do not have gluten. You can substitute with xanthan gum, but when you finish your xanthan gum, so try to get glucomannan, because I feel that you get much nicer results, for both baking and to thicken sauces. Glucomannan, also known as konjac root powder, is 100% plant based, and does not cause gastrointestinal problems as often as xanthan gum. Enjoy the cake!
Hi Taty Serra! Glucomannan, also known as konjac root powder, is a binding agent for the various nut or seed flours, and helps to make the texture less crumbly. I use glucomannan in place of the gluten that is not in nut flours (and of course, gluten is not part of a keto, low-carb gluten-free diet!). Thank you for your question - Cheers!
Hi Gina! For each of my videos, I put a link in the RUclips description to the full, written recipe, which is posted on my blog site, where people can use a translate button to get the recipe in their preferred language, if needed. can you still prepare this w/o the Glucomanan? or is there a substitute for it ?
