HI have around 3-5k hours of hypixel skyblock in my 4+ years and quit about 8 months ago. it was fun but super addictive. I would recommend the game if your super bored and have nothing to do during summer break but overall I would recommend finding less time investing games to play.

most people think the game is all about grinding but its really how u play it, u can be endgame without ever touching mining or farming and you are allowed to do what ever you want. I think right now the game is in an amazing place for new players and its honestly worth playing if you have a lot of free time (amazing vid btw really make skyblock seem so much more fun)
How can you be endgame without touching the 2 best main ways to make money, also you still need to do them for the xp as currently "endgame" is concidered lvl 400 and up. Though the definition of endgame changes all the time
By most people’s definition of endgame you HAVE to do all the skills to max level, but I agree you can get pretty far into the game while trying to optimize for “fun” instead of just following the most sweaty strategies to progress.

Some of your points are good but the main thing I disagree with is the fact that most of your points relay on someone watching a video. if someone want to learn to play from the game or not watch hours of money making videos they really just can't. Also if your not playing iron man the only thing that matters is money so players are forced to just do what ever makes the most. Even if they want skill they can just level them up from jerry boxs witch just cost more money. there is no point in focusing on other task that make less money when you can just buy yourself to endgame.
Very true. There's always that "someone could just P2W past me" and there's a heavy negative weight that comes with that for the people conscious about it. I have not gotten to the point where I feel like P2W prog skipping feels optimal, so I'll have to correct myself in the next Skyblock video

As someone who has sunk more time then they’ve willing to admit, I will say this: Skyblock is like crack. You try it out because you’re curious, and it turns out to be really fun. So you go back again, and get a similar experience. Fast forward a bit and now you need to do more to get less of a dopamine hit. Keep continuing the cycl, and eventually you start to lose days at a time. You’ll realize what you’re doing is barely even enjoyable and you should stop. Some can break the addiction, some can’t.

I have started playing this game 6-7 months ago and i love it, and i find this video now i like more the game.I just wanna say incredible work, make more of this videos.
quit after 1.6k hours, not planning to ever return. game was fun but too grindy and addictive (every free time I had would be spent on the game). I could never fully dedicate to one thing in the game and that led me to a very bad pace as people with my playtime would already be miles ahead and within about 2-3 years of gameplay I was not able to get a single rng drop worth over 20 million coins, I was only able to accumulate 2b coins net worth with 45 skill average and after looking back at it, I can't believe I was able to dedicate this much time for something so pointless
Wynncraft is unrepeatable unique content - once you finish all the content, it becomes a monotonous idle game where you can quit at any time Hypixel Skyblock is repeatable grind content - it has always been an idle game, but it’s a really well made one, and will become a massive sunk cost fallacy

Watch me gush about Omori; there were other osts that were really good too. Music design and choice make an alright movie into one that is remembered. Greatest game of all time - in my unprofessional (way too many hours of playtime) opinion. My love for Minecraft as a game did nothing but grow when I started playing this gamemode. Normal vanilla worlds playing with my mates growing up was pretty much one of my fav things. Even though we got older, this gamemode was so sentimental and familiar even though I was playing it for the first time. Made plenty of mates that I've kept to this day on here, but truly don't think you incorporated the idea of rng well enough. The amount of joy you feel to be able to tell your mates you got this rare drop in a block game... and I feel this is why so many people don't like skyblock. Once you grind hard enough and get your first rng, it makes it all more than worth it. Banger video, def worth a subscriber.

@loonitick I really like the dark music too. I thoroughly enjoy that ambiance it gives. Ya know the scenes. Though, as much of a wimp as I be, I've only done the good route.
Watch me gush about Omori; there were other osts that were really good too. Music design and choice make an alright movie into one that is remembered. I haven't touched Celeste in a long time, but the music is poignant. And the ones I didn't know? Those now comfortably rest in my music folder. Thanks for ze content.
Greatest game of all time - in my unprofessional (way too many hours of playtime) opinion.
My love for Minecraft as a game did nothing but grow when I started playing this gamemode. Normal vanilla worlds playing with my mates growing up was pretty much one of my fav things. Even though we got older, this gamemode was so sentimental and familiar even though I was playing it for the first time. Made plenty of mates that I've kept to this day on here, but truly don't think you incorporated the idea of rng well enough. The amount of joy you feel to be able to tell your mates you got this rare drop in a block game... and I feel this is why so many people don't like skyblock. Once you grind hard enough and get your first rng, it makes it all more than worth it. Banger video, def worth a subscriber.
skyblock ruined my life i lost everything my wife is gone and she got custody of the kids i had friends that i no longer have because i spent 20 hours everyday playing this game all i did was farm and farm i wanted everything but instead i lost everything my family cut me off calling me insane desperately trying to get me in a pyshward but since i was a adult i havent commited a crime they now i dont have my pc and cant even play skyblock DO NOY PLAYY SKYBLOCK
so the reason you stopped playing skyblock is because you lost your pc and not any of other previous reasons
