Program used for the Earth, Rift, and Dragon Realm in the first segment was made through Daniel Linssen's application "Planetarium" managore.itch.io/planetarium 2. My reason to believe Taika were once humans is because Maddox and Aatrox are Taikans yet they look human (most likely due to not have magical capabilities). 3. Mistake I made in the previous lore video, Necron studied in the Hub Academy and its Dean is not the one from the Crimson Isle. 4. The Watcher is a potential suspect of the forbidden scroll as he could interfere with the past. 5. Another mistake, I left out "The Study" journal in the previous video because I thought it was irrelevant but it was actually the reason the Expedition started. 6. Livid approached Lathrop after Necron left to his room, not before. 7. Wizard Tower appearing in the animation is just an oversight (I was too lazy to remove it :D) 8. The Expedition ended in F3, most likely the Professor's Boss Room. 9. Tomioka (dungeon NPC) is probably Taikan and states that his great-grandpa is allegedly the creator of the abiphone. 10. Mage Outlaw is probably a member of the shady mage group. 11. Lord Jawbus is associated with Kuudra, training the blazing golems seen in the boss fight. 12. It is possible that the female necromancer is not from our dimension and from an alternate one with its own Catacombs (because the dialogue is from a Rift counterpart of a Hub NPC) 13. The Maddox, Seraphine, and Sirius in the Rift are the ones from the Hub Island and even mention traveling through the portal in their dialogues for their purposes. 14. Oruo the Omniscient is most likely not allied with the Catacombs, mentioning he is imprisoned there. 15. Sven Packmaster is said to have been created by a mad scientist, possibly being Aura. 16. In the Hidden Quarters part of the theory section, could have no significance and just a joke since areas with doors similar to it are a reference to the Admin Cheesey, but I deemed it special since it is one of the only doors like it which can be entered. 17. Not "100% complete" lore because some minor and unimportant stuff are left out for convenience :P 18. People listed in Extra Credits are people who helped the video indirectly through their own videos/threads from YT and the Forums. Feel free to leave any of your thoughts, theories, and questions on the lore in the comments! :D

@@RERE-iz2dy 70% of the playerbase would quit or continuously complain in forums, but yes, it would be so fire if boss stats were lore accurate to rebalance for endgame builds being absolutely broken. also, i wanna point out that devs should fix stuff like cheesing f7 with eff VI-X stonks, i mean, yeah i do cheese runs myself, but damn it's literally glitch abusing.

@@RERE-iz2dymore than that, I think the way secrets work is kinda stupid, if they were there for optional stat boosts that would be fine, but the fact they’re required for getting the best items, and the fact you need to do it in a certain amount of time, makes playing solo incredibly hard to get into, bordering on impossible. I understand solo isn’t the intended experience but I think it shouldn’t be that much of a gap

Wonderfully done my man. I did not realize the lore was that deep and I've played skyblock since it came out. The one area I'd say you didn't touch on enough was the crystal hollows. There is so much lore there , including team treasurite excavating what looks like a bunch of Dwarven and precursor architecture and the kalawuki tribe and its history. That being said, you did a great job.
I have a theory about the Glacite Tunnels and Divan. 25:50 First off, this thing about rift time being business days. One of the dwarves in the camp says that the rest of the team will be here in 3-5 business days. Another thing is, the Glacite Mineshaft theme, “dead mines” shares motifs with the rift theme. _And,_ there’s also the living caves in the rift, which are also frozen over caves. Definitely some sort of connection, especially considering that the glacite wasn’t always there, you mention at 3:30 it started spreading one day, and “seemed to be alive” (3:43). *Living* Cave, and *Living* Stillness. Connection? Probably. I think there’s somehow some breach connecting the living caves and Glacite tunnels, perhaps to some other living cold dimension, or perhaps just somewhere deeper than we can access in the living stillness. And perhaps, just maybe, Divan found that breach, crossed through, and got stuck/died on the other side. Something more that supports this, glacite’s description states “of those unlucky few to have discovered where it originates, none have lived to tell the tale” implying it came from somewhere, and somewhere dangerous, based on the fact no one survived.
I belive it is due to the dragon kings dimension tampering that the glacite began to spread OR The glacite deeper in the mines form into a life like state due to the immense mana they posses (the reason they were able to leak into the mines), Divan realizing this he used some material to make a barrier halting the further increase of power of the glacite

I'm currently making a texture back build around implementing slayer bosses with unique models and textures using your assets, i figured out and was able to make the revenant horror completly functional, thanks for providing models in the server!

Thought I would share some of my thoughts: [WARNING, YAPATHON] 1:29 - I would be skeptical in how similar Skyblocks earth is compared to ours, specifically I will point out how "earth" is in lowercase, which typically refers more to the ground. 10:18 - I would say that it is not Jythars corruption that made the Volcano emerge, but his rampage that destroyed the land. Logically it makes sense huge event could create volcanic activity. The Mage Association specifically took the heart of Jythar away, and the corruption of the mobs comes from the Sulphur, if it there was Fel corruption causing what happened to the island, it likely would have ended up like the End. 35:59 - There is actually a little bit more lore about the Minibosses which is found on the Crimson Isle patch notes, notably Bladesoul who used to be the prince seemingly became the king of the Stronghold after taking down the strongest blaze, wearing its body as a crown. The Mage Outlaws are also referred to in plural, as their own little entity. I think that this could potentially be a part of Julian's background, but I don't think this is his actual organization as I'll get to later. Aside from matching up gameplay wise, I also have my own theory about how Bladesoul and the Wither Skeletons, which are seemingly created exclusively through Fel magic ended up on the Isles, but I won't get into that here. 40:18 - Just a fun little side note, while Shania says the necromancer grew the Wilted Berberis, the way she created them was actually through necromancy. 43:27 - I would say he is definitely looking for the Wither King and not Doctor Emmet, as "liege" fits as a word more so relating to a king, and because is at the Rift Wither Kings recently broken cage. The skulls around the cage also suggest that the Rift Wither King went into another dimension after breaking out, maybe he even went to the Dragon Realm for revenge, in which case, those Wise Dragons better watch out. 47:19 - About Shen's associates, I will mention that there could be a connection to the Banker. The Banker is in the same general circle with Shen, relating to the Museum and also being the center of where wealth is stored, being a small connection, but I think it goes deeper. First of all, Diaz's father invented the piggy bank, which could possibly have been the Banker, this could even explain how Diaz became connected to Shen. From Tal Ker's dialogue we can see that he went to the Sky Academy with the Banker, proving his magical prowess. It is also mentioned in TK's dialogue that the Banker gets a lot of money to provide for bank interest seemingly out of nowhere. In the Rift, there is a suspicious absence of the Banker and the Coins, which seemingly disappeared under mysterious conditions one day, being replaced with Motes. Shen is notorious for his wealth, I think that with Shen's Rift Access, he worked with the Banker to take all the coins out of the Rift, explaining their disappearance. Another associate I strongly believe is in Shen's organization would be Julian. First must be established that the only other main known party with Rift access would be Shen's organization, which matches the sketchiness of Elise's description of Julian's organization. Elise mentions Julian right after talking about Shen, and by the way she talks about him it is quite clear he did not come through the Wizard Portal. With this in mind, it seems much more likely he works for Shen, rather than some Taika association we have extremely little information about. The implications of this are also interesting, Shen could be interested in finding the Precursors as the looming danger would be important to know about, or it is also possible that Shen wants to figure out more about the Precursors fusion technology in order to perfect his craft of magical items. A side note, Dante's final destination of destruction before his defeat was going to be the Wizard Portal, and the likely Shen associate of The Family, specifically Scorpius, seemed to be against Barry. 48:15 - I think your second theory about the Vanguard is more likely, the description of the Pendant questions why Divan would leave behind the pendant, which to me doesn't seem like the right wording if it were the case that Divan was the Vanguard. Also, with Glacite Expeditions update along the way I suspect the quest will revolve around finding the true SOURCE of the Glacite, which I speculate to be the cause of Divan's demise based off of the description. This update will also add on to the Divan Equipment set with different sources, so I think it's fair to say that having that piece of equipment doesn't necessarily suggest that the Vanguard is Divan. About the word "Vanguard", I will also add that the first definition also matches up with the Divan's expedition being the frontier of exploration, finding new things. I'll also add that I don't think it is entirely confirmed that the Tungsten was only discovered breakable during Divan's expedition, as I think it is most likely the reason for Divan's expedition was to discover the source of the Glacite after it had taken over that part of their kingdom. 49:53 - I think this door is likely an extension of the kingdom, specifically behind it is likely the where the source of the Glacite lies, as we currently can't see it. As to why it's closed, I think it could have been an early attempt at stopping the Glacite from spreading over the kingdom that failed, with the Great Ice Wall being the more successful attempt. Also, that is not Glacite in the Royal Palace, that is a mirror. 💀🙏 51:30 - I believe that the giants are in fact Precursors, just augmented ones. While the parts of the Dungeon Hub being canon or not is very sketchy, The Precursor Ruins under the island seem to be on a very large scale, possibly where Sadan found the augmented Giants. The precursors would definitely have the technology to do so. The Precursor Ruins Under the Dungeon Hub is also the explanation that makes the most sense for the Precursor items in the Catacombs. It is also possible that Sadan augmented the corpses himself as a part of his technique. 52:34 - This one can be explained. The entrance to this house is a Hobbit Hole, the specific structure of which can be actually found not only throughout the Skyblock Islands, but the entirety of Hypixel's Maps. This is because these Holes are easter eggs from the builder, Cheesey. So, similar to how other Admins have houses in Skyblock, this is probably his house.
@@Arvineas An interesting little fact, the mirrors did used to be packed ice, looking more like Glacite. In the "Many More Major and Minor Modifications Meticulously Made To Modernize Mining" Alpha, the Glacite Tunnels were expanded as a part of the build change. As a byproduct, the mirrors in a specific room in the Royal Palace briefly became mineable, as Glacite! However, because of this issue, all these mirrors were converted to regular ice, along with even the ice crystals in the Mist that weren't minable being converted to blocks other than packed ice.
Hey, I've had the Idea to make a complete Skyblock Timeline for a while, but nerver the Time, courage or skills to make it into a video and im so happy to see someone put actual effort into it unlike most other videos.
Title originally said history (like player and game development history) and I was intrigued, but lore is cool Just finished watching-- very interesting stuff! I like how alive everything feels when you bring the lore together
Amazing video! Skyblock's lore is expansive, and I bet a lot will be revealed soon from the rift mountaintop update! Couple things about the rift though: The mountaintop rift eye has existed since the update on a wooden platform above rift gallery (not the summit). It is unreachable though as the mountain zone will kick you out. I wonder if it could be reached using exploits, but no don't do that. Another thing, rift Marcia at the flower shop says Marco has been sick for a day that has lasted 700k+ hours. That hour count goes up each real life hour, and if you do the math, that amount of hours ago was June 6th 1944 in most timezones, also known as the D-day from WW2. This is definitely intended and could just be an easter egg, but this is the ONLY dialogue in skyblock that I know of that relates to real life time, while seeming to be in lore. Another theory of mine is, that all the messages on the edge of the mountain zone in the rift added recently are some sort of puzzle for unlocking the mountaintop, comparable to the mandible hunt in difficulty. Or it could be that the admins are just teasing us. But with the teases I expect this to be the next major content update, and I would be disappointed if they leave it at the current situation. Unless the update is/was secretly added at some point...

One of the greatest games to exist. I remember dropping items by accident, fighting in the Dungeon, and having lots of fun… when not grinding. I haven’t played Minecraft for over one a half years and yet I remember everything about Hypixel. Skyblock was always a great game on Hypixel. This lore makes me nostalgic.
The animations and renders are peak, the MUSIC selection is peak, and never in my 4 years of playing did i think that there were 3 dimensions?! Banger video.

My theory is that the player is the hero/ the one who gave the scrolls to Necron, who did so via rift time travel, it would make sense, because the Watchers says we have a greater role to play and that could very welll be that role
As a person who plays video games not only to beat content, but also to learn the lore (elden ring, bloodbourne, stardew valley, honkai star rail, etc), im so glad that someone has finally made a lore compilation on skyblock's lore! I read the catacombs journal entries like 2 years ago before i quit and thought it was really mysterious and cool. I recently came back to my 1.6k hour ironman profile to play garden and crystal hollows so this came out at the perfect time lmao time to get addicted again Aware
Those animated sequences were JUICY, the effort you put into this is clearly visible! Also love the choice of the ROR2 void soundtrack for the rift segments, fits the theme well.

Maybe the door in the Glacite Tunels leads to the new Precursors civilization, and they could have taken divan. On the other hand there is a small chance that the Precursors are on the rift mountain top.

I personally think that Shen gave Necron the scroll, i mean the scrolls of the wither king were kept very secure, so only someone quite powerful could have stilen it without being noticed, maybe Shen also got one of his associates to steal it, I'm not sure if Livid would be an option fir that case, because he didnt recognise the wither form of necron, but maybe necron just looked to different. Also it would make sense that Shen, as the richest, would have at least some degree of control over influential organisations like the assasins gilde

The Banker is in the same general circle with Shen, relating to the Museum and also being the center of where wealth is stored, being a small connection, but I think it goes deeper. First of all, Diaz's father invented the piggy bank, which could possibly have been the Banker, this could even explain how Diaz became connected to Shen. From Tal Ker's dialogue we can see that he went to the Sky Academy with the Banker, proving his magical prowess. It is also mentioned in TK's dialogue that the Banker gets a lot of money to provide for bank interest seemingly out of nowhere. In the Rift, there is a suspicious absence of the Banker and the Coins, which seemingly disappeared under mysterious conditions one day, being replaced with Motes. Shen is notorious for his wealth, I think that with Shen's Rift Access, he worked with the Banker to take all the coins out of the Rift, explaining their disappearance. Another associate I strongly believe is in Shen's organization would be Julian. First must be established that the only other main known party with Rift access would be Shen's organization, which matches the sketchiness of Elise's description of Julian's organization. Elise mentions Julian right after talking about Shen, and by the way she talks about him it is quite clear he did not come through the Wizard Portal. With this in mind, it seems much more likely he works for Shen, rather than some Taika association we have extremely little information about. The implications of this are also interesting, Shen could be interested in finding the Precursors as the looming danger would be important to know about, or it is also possible that Shen wants to figure out more about the Precursors fusion technology in order to perfect his craft of magical items. A side note, Dante's final destination of destruction before his defeat was going to be the Wizard Portal, and the likely Shen associate of The Family, specifically Scorpius, seemed to be against Barry.
48:15 - I think your second theory about the Vanguard is more likely, the description of the Pendant questions why Divan would leave behind the pendant, which to me doesn't seem like the right wording if it were the case that Divan was the Vanguard. Also, with Glacite Expeditions update along the way I suspect the quest will revolve around finding the true SOURCE of the Glacite, which I speculate to be the cause of Divan's demise based off of the description. This update will also add on to the Divan Equipment set with different sources, so I think it's fair to say that having that piece of equipment doesn't necessarily suggest that the Vanguard is Divan. About the word "Vanguard", I will also add that the first definition also matches up with the Divan's expedition being the frontier of exploration, finding new things. I'll also add that I don't think it is entirely confirmed that the Tungsten was only discovered breakable during Divan's expedition, as I think it is most likely the reason for Divan's expedition was to discover the source of the Glacite after it had taken over that part of their kingdom.
49:53 - I think this door is likely an extension of the kingdom, specifically behind it is likely the where the source of the Glacite lies, as we currently can't see it. As to why it's closed, I think it could have been an early attempt at stopping the Glacite from spreading over the kingdom that failed, with the Great Ice Wall being the more successful attempt. Also, that is not Glacite in the Royal Palace, that is a mirror. 💀🙏
51:30 - I believe that the giants are in fact Precursors, just augmented ones. While the parts of the Dungeon Hub being canon or not is very sketchy, The Precursor Ruins under the island seem to be on a very large scale, possibly where Sadan found the augmented Giants. The precursors would definitely have the technology to do so. The Precursor Ruins Under the Dungeon Hub is also the explanation that makes the most sense for the Precursor items in the Catacombs. It is also possible that Sadan augmented the corpses himself as a part of his technique.
52:34 - This one can be explained. The entrance to this house is a Hobbit Hole, the specific structure of which can be actually found not only throughout the Skyblock Islands, but the entirety of Hypixel's Maps. This is because these Holes are easter eggs from the builder, Cheesey. So, similar to how other Admins have houses in Skyblock, this is probably his house.

@@Arvineas An interesting little fact, the mirrors did used to be packed ice, looking more like Glacite. In the "Many More Major and Minor Modifications Meticulously Made To Modernize Mining" Alpha, the Glacite Tunnels were expanded as a part of the build change. As a byproduct, the mirrors in a specific room in the Royal Palace briefly became mineable, as Glacite! However, because of this issue, all these mirrors were converted to regular ice, along with even the ice crystals in the Mist that weren't minable being converted to blocks other than packed ice.
Hey, I've had the Idea to make a complete Skyblock Timeline for a while, but nerver the Time, courage or skills to make it into a video and im so happy to see someone put actual effort into it unlike most other videos.

Amazing video! Skyblock's lore is expansive, and I bet a lot will be revealed soon from the rift mountaintop update!
Couple things about the rift though: The mountaintop rift eye has existed since the update on a wooden platform above rift gallery (not the summit). It is unreachable though as the mountain zone will kick you out. I wonder if it could be reached using exploits, but no don't do that.
Another thing, rift Marcia at the flower shop says Marco has been sick for a day that has lasted 700k+ hours. That hour count goes up each real life hour, and if you do the math, that amount of hours ago was June 6th 1944 in most timezones, also known as the D-day from WW2. This is definitely intended and could just be an easter egg, but this is the ONLY dialogue in skyblock that I know of that relates to real life time, while seeming to be in lore.
Another theory of mine is, that all the messages on the edge of the mountain zone in the rift added recently are some sort of puzzle for unlocking the mountaintop, comparable to the mandible hunt in difficulty. Or it could be that the admins are just teasing us. But with the teases I expect this to be the next major content update, and I would be disappointed if they leave it at the current situation. Unless the update is/was secretly added at some point...

One of the greatest games to exist. I remember dropping items by accident, fighting in the Dungeon, and having lots of fun… when not grinding. I haven’t played Minecraft for over one a half years and yet I remember everything about Hypixel. Skyblock was always a great game on Hypixel. This lore makes me nostalgic.

I personally think that Shen gave Necron the scroll, i mean the scrolls of the wither king were kept very secure, so only someone quite powerful could have stilen it without being noticed, maybe Shen also got one of his associates to steal it, I'm not sure if Livid would be an option fir that case, because he didnt recognise the wither form of necron, but maybe necron just looked to different. Also it would make sense that Shen, as the richest, would have at least some degree of control over influential organisations like the assasins gilde
