Although after she did a run through for this, she asked Layne why he didn’t give her anything high to sing!
That was, easily, the most giggle worthy video I've seen from VoicePlay and they've done some fun videos in the past. The makeup was visually stunning and Liz was a perfect fit. I'd love to know how long they spent in makeup for this one. Layne was the standout, but Eli throwing Mini Eli in the cauldron was priceless.
Yes, you did see Lock, Shock, and barrel masks in the trees that Tony made Layne cut down and drag into PattyCake's set. Layne and his killer carrot. I think this is their Halloween video. Eli (Ellie) rhymes with Jelly.
I have loved this musical piece since I was a kid and first heard it. This is done in a way I never would have imagined. The group is amazing and so much fun.
Amazing reaction as always, your reactions to Geoff's lows and Eli's highs are always priceless, one thing would be might I recommend looking into background noise reduction software as sometimes its difficult to hear the video and you talk with the background noise/hiss, amazing reaction as always 😁

The idea of an acapella version of an instrumental song sounds like a contradiction but that was genuinely entertaining. I have the black vulture version of the bird skeleton on your desk. I painted mine with the same colors as the cartoon vultures in the old Looney Toons cartoons.
The name "Eli" would typically be pronounced /EE-lie/, but in this case it's short for Eleazar, so it's /ELL-ee/. If your given name were four syllables long, you might be tempted to shorten it too. And yeah, if you watch this video a few more times, you will notice more cool things about it. Layne did the arrangement on this one, and there are a lot of interesting connections between what's going on musically, and what the characters are doing in the video.
I always thought the Mountain King was a dwarf or a gnome or something. But it seems its like more a posse of kobolds. Maybe I should stop drinking the "Mountain King" brand of beer now. :D
