I get what Google think I will like, and that's it! Slow responsive OS, which is very buggy, and my custom icons setup on my main watch-face's screen disappears without reason, and thus I have to reset them all the time. There are more issues, but I will not have the space to write everything here though. 😁
So far I am happy with my pixel watch, I picked it up for 300 with 12months interest free that's the only reason why I did it well also cause I am planning on having pixel phones for a good amount of time. The last smart watch I owned was 8 years ago so it could also be why I am enjoying it so far as I don't have much to compare to.
Yeah I was waiting for Prime Day to see what specials they had but it only came down to $250 so found a mint second hand one for $150 on eBay, cant go wrong for that price

I just got this watch (LTE version) and I'm currently at 34 hours after a full charge with 43% of the battery still. The only things I've disabled were WiFi and the always on display option. I was actually worried about the battery life, but am pleasantly surprised that the battery lasts longer than my wife's Apple Watch series 7.
Yeah, it's kind of a missed opportunity because you can only use the Apple watch with an iPhone and Google could have made it very different from the Galaxy watch making it the standard watch for an Android, but then they didn't include any of those features. I don't get it... Remember
Got mine in a deal with the Pixel 7 Pro. With the Caseology case/strap, it's the perfect watch. Fast to charge: I usually charge once daily so I can use it for sleep tracking. Throwing on the charger during the shower or while I'm reading a book at bedtime.
I told you should get a GW5 Pro. I can get 3 days of battery, 2 with AOD on. Also your complaints about the alarm and Do Not Disturb are done correctly on GW5.
Yeah when I originally got mine I thought it was going to be a lot more pixily like the phones but really it's just skinned Wear Os. The fact that it's still cost $350 is insane to me
Picked one up on clearance at Walmart, for $90 off. Was kinda shocked when I saw it. Walked away for five minutes, and went right back. 🤣 I have no self control. 😖 Replaced the strap with a metal band and clasp, and a protective shield?, From ebay. Yeah, battery stinks, but will get you through a good day, from 100%. I like it.
Oh it's definitely worth it if you can get it for cheaper than what Google sells it for. I still like it but I think it's way overpriced. This should have been no more than 300 when it was released for the LTE model

Coming from the Apple Watch series 7, the PW doesn't come close in my opinion. Battery hasn't been be issue. It's the lack of integration with third party apps.

I am so unhappy and disgusted with my purchase of the Pixel Watch. It gets into a lot of complications but in the process it misses out on the basics. Even the changing of the bands is a bit of a headache. The battery of barely 24 hours is stupid
Battery life for me has improved...not sure if Google has adaptive battery on it or not. I'm getting closer to 32 hours on a full charge now. I've gotten used to the band mechanism It just takes a minute. Like I said I don't think we'll see a second version anytime soon just hopefully more features added.
I had the Pixel watch for 29 days, bought From Amazon Prime (they saved me). I am a Pixel phone owner, and Fi subscriber. I have always appreciate the relative great reliability and support of the Pixel phones and Fi. The Pixel watch aint that. The support for a product at this price point is absolutely horrible. After a week, and an update that hosed the bluetooth sync, I started having problems, and the 1st level support had me reinitalize the watch to factory defaults, and after upgrade, right back to same problem. They asked for ridiculous information in email after getting off off the phone and saying they were escalaiting to next level. No one ever followed up with me, depite my daily follow-ups to them. 1 day prior to the return period expiration with Prime, I contacted Amazon and initiated a no hassle return for refund. I aint getting another Pixel watch ever. If this is a preview to Google support in the future, well then Hello Apple.
They should just get it of the smart watch business altogether. They took so long to release WearOS 3. I thought it was great at 1st but quickly found it underwhelming. Waiting to see what they do with WearOS 4, which is rumored to come out this year. Not holding my breath though. They teased WearOS 3 for years! Most likely, wear os 4, if it does come out, won't work with my watch, which was one of the only watches that was compatible with wear os 3 at the time. There heart isn't in it. They should just drop it already and stop pretending to care.
Even with the concerns I have, I still use it everyday and never thought about returning it. It's not bad, it just could be a lot better and hopefully Google will add features in the future
Update: yeah the battery life is garbage and overall it's been "mehh" 🤷🏾 I also am coming from a Apple Watch Ultra and iphone 14 pro max. So to have my new Google watch paired to my Samsung Galaxy S3 ultra hasn't been fun. I think I'll just get the galaxy watch 5 pro.
@@TDD95 yeah, it's really about what's most important to you. I think the pixel watch user experience is better than the Galaxy watch, but the Galaxy watch definitely has better battery life and I could fill your pain coming from the Apple watch ultra.

I think that's really how it's designed to be. Not the most rugged, but the most stylish and more civilian style watch.

It's crazy but I hate Samsung's design language. Just can't stand the way it looks but I know their devices are more feature rich.

Bought Spigen thin case as it has cutout for the crown and with lamshaw metal band and I can it looks so classy 😎

I picked up about a month ago. a New Old stock pixel 6 LTE for $200. It does pay, to have patience.
