Even though i know this has nothing to do with the video I''m looking to replace my galaxy a32 5g as doesn't have a always on display what would u recommend, something between $160-$200?
@@preston8872 Might be best to get like a used Pixel 6a. Recent phone and will receive 5 years of support and has the same Tensor chip that's in the better models. It's not the new Tensor G2 chip like in the Pixel 7 series but the original Tensor chip is still a really good chip. Also with a Pixel phone, you get the true Android experience without all of the bloatware.
I agree this has been a pleasant product for me. I am looking forward to a bigger version but the battery and performance has been a great surprise for me.
Agreed I also really want them to bring the Google assistant at a glance feature from wear os 2. Swiping to left and seeing same tiles I'd get from swiping right is a waste for me
I appreciate your honest and personal view of this watch. I have one too and have been very pleased with it for the most part. I wish they would enable the blood oxygen sensor.
Thank you for this non-review! Your situation when it comes to smart watches is very similar to mine. I thought long and hard before asking my significant other about getting me the watch for my birthday and I am now glad that after all my reading, watching of reviews etc. that it sounds like when I do finally (any day now) get this thing on my wrist I will not want to take it off!

I always find them entertaining and informative, and I like the way you deliver your message. I've seen several videos by others, but you are by far my favorite. I really like your opinion on using the Pixel Watch. i don't run or train with a smart watch. I use them to see who's messaging, calling or mainly controlling my podcasts or music that's playing. That's it.
Ok using GPay on this watch made me feel like i had my life TOGETHER. I'm really enjoying my Pixel Watch and it's been so helpful for me on my fitness journey! You're absolutely right, this watch is special. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this
I hated mine the first few days and almost returned it...but once the battery improved and I got used to it.. it surprisingly retired my Ticwatch Pro 3! A complete 180 from my initial thoughts!

Thanks y'all. I'm currently getting more than 24hrs right know after 3 days since I received it! Looking forward to get even more but so far I'm Happy!
I appreciate setting limits with your audience. This is also my foray into smart watches so my use cases are exploratory. I'm enjoying this watch more and more even a few weeks into my experience.
Great honest video! I got the Pixel watch with the Pixel 7 Pro, and when I opened the box I was like... 'what is this tiny thing?' I was using a Huawei GT2e which I think is 44mm!?, and the pixel watch was like a kids toy watch. I was sure I'd be selling it within a week, but I tried it for a few days. You won't get this thing off my wrist now. I love it! I've even become addicted at looking at my sleep patterns. Did I get enough REM and deep sleep? jeez. Might need to try a new strap tho, as the silicon one is hmmm not great tbh
I'm a Pixel fan 100%. I've only had pixel phones since the first one. And although I'd been eagerly waiting for this to be released, I decided to get the galaxy watch 5 for a few reasons. Like you, I have very limited smartwatch experience. The only other one I've had was the fossil sport which was horrible in numerous ways, one of which was battery life. So, after hearing the initial reviews talking about the poor battery life and seeing that it had a centered digital crown (which broke on my fossil from pressure from my hand while sleeping or working out) I reluctantly chose the Samsung. Setting up the 4g connection was more difficult than it should've been. But beyond that I have it setup with all Google services and I think I have all the same benefits you mentioned. And I'm not sure what your battery experience has been but I get about a day and a half with the always on display on. Plus I don't need a premium subscription service to do sleep tracking. Anyway, the Pixel watch is definitely good looking. I'll probably get the Pixel watch 3 when it has better battery life and more styles to choose from. Cheers.
Yes!!! Someone had to finally say it! I am thoroughly enjoying this watch. There is just something about it. I have my Galaxy Watch 5 pro which is really nice, but like a Samsung phone......it just doesn't feel right when you've owned a Pixel! Such a clean OS, and feels like this is how Wear OS should look and function.
Exactly my thoughts. I love this watch and it too has become part of my daily routine. It was easy for me to ignore a simple workout tracker and other smart watches seemed gaudy or unwieldy. The Pixel Watch has the Fitbit features but also looks really good.
Phenomenal whatever you decided to call this I know it's not a review but it's the honesty for me the things you cover might be the only things I use that watch for lol you've made the decision that much easier to think I was going to buy a galaxy watch for a pixel phone I won't make that mistake
I am really enjoying my pixel watch, I am able to track the things I care about such as my EV being charged, heart rate, etc.. it recharges soo fast, love the watch
I really appreciated this review. It was honest. I've been a Fitbit tracker wearer for a number of years, and I rely on it for my runs. Many reviewers of the Pixel Watch seemed to focus on small differences between Wear OS implementations or differences with the Apple watch. That stuff didn't concern me as much as just the bread and butter parts of a wearable, but their negativity worked and I didn't buy the Pixel Watch. However, your review convinced me to pick it up and now I'm excited to check it out. Thank you!
Are you kidding me with the way you use the keyboard on a watch?? Lol Very impressive. I held off getting this watch because I heard it was too small and the battery didn't last long enough so I figured I may as well wait till the next model but maybe I'll go ahead and get this after all. I just wish it would go on sale for a lot less. Maybe Google will slash the price once the new model is ready. 🤞
I really like mine. I moved from the Samsung watch. Overall - much smoother operation and a better feeling watch. The google pay seems to work much better than the Samsung Pay for NFC payments. Easier connection and better access to the app.
I just wish it was larger. It looks like a happy meal toy on my wrist :(. I did see that article about Spigen releasing a rugged case for the pixel watch. I'm thinking that'll make it look much better.

Thanks for the video review of it nIt looks good and can do all the smart stuff well I bet even with the older processor. How tough is it though? Like can I take it to work if some times I have to be around heavy doors and metal equipment. Or what about the gym or even working out at home or rock wall climbing or even hiking or trail running for that matter. Seems like a white collared only watch. You'd have to have something else for the outdoors or real workouts besides road running or walking. Not sure I'd want to use it even biking much less mountain biking. And are you limited to the Fitbit subscription or is Google fit going to be supported indefinitely on it?
