Great review bro, I'll definitely consider buying one in the future to have in my carry bag with my IPad Pro running Cubasis 3. I hope they make a premium version in the future with the same tiny form factor but metal casing and knobs. For now though I think I'm gonna stick with with one just a bit more quality.

Hi. Understand it's compatible with android devices, would there be a drop in sound quality/gain/output received by a connected android handphone to record to an android apps like Open Camera, Starmaker singing apps, etc?
Does it have enough power to work with high impedance headphones like DT770 Pro 250 Ohms while drawing the power from a mobile device
Preamp noise? good? bad? sm7b white noise? I'm really interested in this, it has all that i need. Just worried about white noise despite having a dbx 286s with sm7b
Although I probably won’t be using input 2 much or the software because I’m not really a musician I just need a small audio interface to set on my desk and use my Shure MV7X with and I think this will be just fine.

So how does it work on an Android device?
So why do they bundle a bunch of vst plugins from many mfgrs ("over $1000 value", PreSonus says) as a come on to buy the GO box yet none of those vst plugins are supported for use? I'm seriously questioning my purchase after three days of fighting with this thing.
I guess if you need a 1/4" TRS or headphone output for your laptop this would fill that need.
Rear cable connectors on a desktop unit is invaluable
Very well presented review. How would the latency on this box compare to more expensive boxes like the 2i2 Gen 3?
I would like to know this too.
Both will probably not be the best when it comes to latency. They're both on the cheap end. There are websites that measure that kind of stuff tho. Most of these around this price range are great for stuff like podcasts or RUclips videos where you just need power for the mic or on the go to record a demo whwre you plan to record in a better enviroment later. They can be fine for music but latency with effects activated are going to be in issue. That and the pre amps aren't great and the noise floor. Just powering a mic for voiceover, RUclips, podcast or even a demo this will do just fine.

How do you power it besides your Mac? Can you plug it to a regular outlet?
You could maybe power it on by plugging it into a powered USB hub but there isn’t a separate connection for power and data. It is all in the same USB connection. If you’re looking for a standalone mic preamp there are probably better options.

I don’t have an iPad Pro so I don’t know for sure but they don’t work on a regular iPad so I don’t think they will work on an iPad Pro.
You are using a Shure mv51 can that be used with this audiobox?
The Shure MV51 is a USB mic so it connects to the computer on its own.
could I use a USB-C to USB-C cable to power it if I'm using it on Mac? New Macbook doesn't have USB A ports but I could get an adapter also
Same question. I just want to plug it into a MacBook Pro, and use that for audio out.
Late to the party, but in case if anybody still looking for answers, I'd say why not, usb is usb, in this case any combination will work, this device doesen't use any proprietary tech for their usb connection.

You likely could do that.

Minifuse has better specs. More dynamic range, more gain, and capable of recording higher quality audio. Personally I prefer the minifuse preamps (I am working with one now and really like it).
The Audiobox Go sounds decent too and can record 2 inputs at the same time. Also I prefer the bundled software that comes with the Audiobox Go.
For the overall build quality, I think the Minifuse takes it.
Can you connect an amp straight to this, such as a fender bassbreaker15?
If it has a line output or headphone output you could connect either of those to this.

✋ Professor, I have a question that may be kinda duh but here goes: is there a loss in audio quality by using a 24-bit interface (like this one) onto a 32-bit float file in the DAW (for dialogue)?? P.S.- I'll need dumbed down answers haha I'm still learning this stuff. I just do audiobooks, I'm no audio whizchick ❤🤜🤛🤓🎤📖
Don't worry bro. Just get a 24 bit and make music. There is a good reason why we don't have 32 bit DA converters as yet. It's not necessary. Concentrate on your music.
Also I have 12 bit and 16 bit converters on old sampler machines that will blow away 32 and 64 bit converters with warmness. Focus more on warmness especially for extended listening. . . There is a reason bit crushers and tubes are in style the days. Make music and don't stress gear. Higher digital converters can be very harsh to the ear. Too much upper frequencies. It the last thing you need for listening. The listeners ears gets tired quickly. They subconsciously won't want to listen for long periods or listen to your music over and over.
Is it better than the 96. Anniversary. Very confused and ready to buy. I think this Go unit is better. Sweetwater isn't sure either. Help

The Focusrite Scarlett Solo has better specs and a metal body. If you have the budget for the Solo I would go with that. Or look at the Presonus Audiobox USB 96 if you want to get Studio One Artist for free.

I think it's better with a condenser mic than with dynamic mics.
He i am looking for audio interface in this Budget that is enough for Dt 770 80 Ohm headphones , should i gi for this Or anything else komplete audio 2 , i also want good vocal recording , tight in budget can't buy focusrite or other expensive ...😄
This audio interface will be able to power the 80 ohm headphones. It can give you decent vocal recordings depending on your mic. If you have a condenser it should be good. If you have a dynamic that requires a lot of gain then this may not have enough gain to cleanly power that mic.
Some other options to look at in this price range:
Mackie Onyx Artist 1-2. It’s $89 USD
Native Instruments Komplete Audio 1 Interface is on sale right now for $89 USD.
Nice review i think the Presonus is intrylevel that said its a tool to carie any wair you go it's in my relm of thinking best used to capture the molment when that LIGHT BULB molment go's off and you capture the tone and lyric of a song you all are trying to record, im a dummime when it comes to this stuf BUT i think personus knocked it out of the park its to capture that molment,, there so many times i have a brilint line or riff but i go back to it the next day and i dont here the same thing i hurd so my take it's perfict i dont care about what its made out of .... what i do wish is some one would show how to use the DAU program baby steps for us old codgers thank's buddie love it now if i can figure it out

Can anybody please tell me if the XLR/combination line level input is stereo?
Each input on an audio interface is mono. If using this in stereo: input 1 is left and input 2 is right.
@Audio Tech TV So if I was using this with a sampler, I can use each input as left and right without anything being weird because one is an instrument level input and one is a line level input?
You would need to adjust the level controls different on each input because of that but it should be alright once you get the levels even. Or grab a Presonus Audiobox USB and that way you will have 2 line inputs.

Yes you can
Hi, I would like to know if we hear our voice directly in the headset when I speak
There are a couple ways that you can do this. On the interface itself there is a mix knob. When you turn this up it mixes in your direct signal so you can easily hear your voice as you talk. Another way to do this would be through your software, there should be a love input monitoring option in your software that will allow you to hear your voice while you speak.

Is this better than M audio m track duo ?
I haven’t used a M Track Duo but I do know that it’s 16 bit and the Audiobox Go is 24 bit. For me I would prefer 24 bit recording but the M Track duo might be built stronger.
While you’re shopping around take a look at the Audiobox USB 96 25th anniversary edition. It’s usually like $20 - $30 more than the Audiobox Go and you get a more solid interface with 2 mic pres.
Another thing to have a look at right now would be the Focusrite Scarlett solo or 2i2 3rd gen interfaces. They just released the 4th Gen so 3rd gen units are likely discounted right now and they are very nice too.

Does it work on fl studio?
Yes this will work with FL Studio.
Is it better than m-audio solo?
The Audiobox Go is 24bit and the M-Audio Solo is 16 bit. Personally I prefer to record in 24 bit as it gives you more dynamic range. The M-Audio Solo is probably constructed a little more solid. I haven’t used the Solo though so I can really comment on the quality.
I would also recommend checking out the Presonus Audiobox USB 96. It’s just a bit more money than the Audiobox Go but you get a more solid interface with 2 mic preamps.

It's not really a replacement interface, unless you have something that is 16 bit. But for a secondary interface or a first interface this one gives you a lot in such a small size. Thank you for watching. Keep creating! 👊👍

For me I also prefer the Presonus audio interface over the Steinberg's audio interface. Everything works great just the way they should without any problems
