That TD pass to Nailor had Jefferson’s fingerprints all over it. Getting the Bears CB to take that step towards Jefferson further in the back of the end zone was superb 👌
Hope springs eternal in The Purple Nation. Getting used to ugly wins, consistent inconsistency on offense etc., is just how the season has been going since half 2 at GB. So we will see if this home stand is better; I could appreciate a decisive win v AZ.
Sam has the ability to shake off bad plays. It's kind of like a starter who gives up a 2-run HR and then retires the next 9 batters. He's going to have some subpar games, and IMO not good enough to take the team far in the playoffs, but he's a good QB and is clearly receiving excellent coaching with a terrific array of weapons. I'm enjoying the ride.
I read some thing interesting the other day. Advanced stats have Sam Darnold as one of the most … wait for it… clutch QBs in the league. Basically he’s at his worse in garbage time or when we have a big league. But when we’ve needed him to be his best, he’s been at his best. Look at all the drives we needed to put the games away, save the Detroit game - and in closing time ran out - Darnold has been clutch. Pretty… no. But dude is getting it done. And he’s actually getting better. So we should not draw conclusions and wait and see.
I do not understand why people feel the need to pretend that Kirk Cousins coming in is some sort of scary proposition. How much of Caleb Williams day yesterday was thanks to his ability to move around? We know as a fact Kirk is less mobile than ever, they cant even run a play action with him hes so immobile now after the injury. You just have to get pressure and he cannot under any circumstance escape it.
In my opinion and like the last I'm going to say probably 15 maybe even 20 years The Bears never knew how to figure out who has the talent we gave them Chester Taylor and he didn't do crap for the Bears as a Viking he was awesome and then they had Justin Fields who is actually playing really good right now The Bears just don't know how to use their talented players the way they should they never have
My only current concern with Darnold is his choice of throw at times. He sometimes throws the fastball when taking some power off would be better. He has proven he can throw with touch, but those unnecessary darts and throwing at the receiver’s feet can be frustrating.
The second half of the Vikings schedule was/is essentially a cakewalk. Saying the best is yet to come for Darnold means nothing. And you're likely looking at the most 9-2 team to ever exit the playoffs in the first round.
My expectations were none in the beginning I said they would start six and two and they're nine and two I said anything after that is just to give me but being they started so good I would expect at least one playoff win cuz if not it's just a huge disappointment but I shouldn't say that either because sometimes you just have them close games where it comes down to a field goal and that's what happened with Chicago and that was their part of my prediction I said it's going to come down to a field goal or whoever kicks more field goals so actually the game was impressive but still stressful I would have been better off just watching the highlights
Chester Taylor actually there's a guy thinking about it I think he would do really good on his cute plays that never work Chester Taylor had that skill set like no other and if you could find it he was great if you could like when he was in Chicago well then he was no good
O'Connell needs to learn how to implement killer instincts by putting the foot on the gas pedal. Unfortunately, he won't commit to the run. The HC seems to get to cute and worst always wants to prove something by the passing game that usually gets them in trouble. The offense continues to disappear after the first drive. Thank God the Vikings have DC Flores. It looks as if the Packers and Lions have learned to blow teams out, so why can't the Vikings?
He sure has surprised me but I wish sometimes he would get the ball out faster and get rid of Brandon Powell heco JJ a touchdown and fumbled that punt that could have lost the game for them
You guys keep saying the way we’re winning look we beat Green Bay and Green Bay. Yes they came back but Green Bay is a good team. We beat Chicago in Chicago by three. Guess who else won by three Detroit and you guys stay there the best Give the Vikings some credit

The overtime drive was a thing of beauty.

I love the photo of THREE players around Jefferson while speedy is making the grab..
.
The most important thing is always the 9-2 record
The Vikings are still solidifying.
Haven't peaked yet
Skol! 🏈💜💛
Since ‘22 Darnold has 30 TDs to 14 INTs.
Is Flores saving some looks and blitzes for the playoffs to help the secondary ? Let’s Hope So
Offense played decent. Really was special teams that hurt us the most.

Why is every single game at solder field so wonky??? It's always crazy
Every single time.
Matt I saw you at the airport in Ohare airport I was gonna say hi but I didn’t wanna bother you but thought it was pretty cool to see you there.
The last 10 years!?!? You don’t look 19, that place has always been a paranormal football paradox!

I just don't see this team losing at home.... they played the Lions the best anyone has...
If someone knocks off the Lions and the Vikings win out, they will have the One Seed. Can't keep losing players to season ending injuries though.

They can finish 15-2 no doubt. They can win the NFC North if they run the table.
I have a hard time seeing another win after watching the last 4 games. We are playing good teams for the remainder

Chicago is always weird though. I hate Soldier Field. Super depressing
I'm sorry I meant to say Brandon Powell almost fumbled that punt my bad kick me off the team too
You've heard his conference speeches whatever I'm sure count how many times he says um and um
"Yea, he's a statue, but he's a productive statue." Bumper Sticker that.
Daniel Jones made a good decision.
He might be the most intelligent player or coach on the Vikings.
Chester Taylor actually there's a guy thinking about it I think he would do really good on his cute plays that never work Chester Taylor had that skill set like no other and if you could find it he was great if you could like when he was in Chicago well then he was no good
i dont think there will be a best yet to come win...it is what it is
You have to quit short changing this Vikings team. Why don't you look at how often they're ahead in games.

How many game winning drives with Cousins ended in sacks or check downs short of the sticks
That’s my point. Cousins is a good QB but it’s easy to get in his head. KOC propped him up a lot. Darnold seems unshakable
He sure has surprised me but I wish sometimes he would get the ball out faster and get rid of Brandon Powell heco JJ a touchdown and fumbled that punt that could have lost the game for them

Sam can play, but someone needs to his hom how to speak. And Um.
That was rough
@@kevinfessler6831he is pretty chill, CA style. Post game outfits are classics
