- University of Michigan college dorm room tour 2019 - UMich freshman college dorm gaming setup in Mary Markley Hall. I hope this video is helpful for any incoming students or for anyone who wants to see what a freshman dorm at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor is like.

Additional information:
This room comes with two plastic chairs, a garbage can, recycling bin, two desks, two dressers, four small shelves, two ladders, and two twin extra long bed frames with mattresses.
The room size in this video (Markley hall) is 11x12 feet. However, other rooms may be different sizes depending on the dorm you receive.
The microwave and fridge do not come with the room. You have to bring those on your own.
The tree featured in the video is an artificial tree.

If you reversed the shelf & drawer unit by the closet to go completely under the bed...
A) would there still be enough room for your office chair?
B) Would the shelf & drawer back side be even with the foot of the bed (not extend past it) so we could put a taller storage unit at the "foot" of the bed?
How far out does the shelf in the closets typically extend away from the wall?

B. I believe it would be flush with the foot of the bed, yes

The supports are included with the room and are structural components of both desks

Most dorms have communal bathrooms that you'll share with other students in your hall. Some dorms have private bathrooms though.
How many inches is the monitor on the desk?
