I support you recommendations on Yogic practices but to reject walking as a healthy practice is far fetched even in these times of political environment. Pranayam - breathing exercises, Aasana - Calisthenics in western parlance are useful in their own way. Walking has it's own pleasures and joy. Besides, it is a social activity where more than one join each other in a group. Group activities are mutually motivating. Health encompasses the happiness quotient of all aspects of the body - physical, mental, emotional, intelligence, spiritual. There is no single formula to Happiness Quotient. Each one to his own at own pace with continuity being maintained.

योग करने से पहले warm अप ज़रुरी है और आधे घन्टे की walking के बाद ही योग किया जाता है , बिना वार्मअप किये योग नही किया जा सकता ।
