Car crash in Bellport, Wednesday October 30, 2019.
A collision occurred between two cars when a driver possibly suffered a medical emergency behind the wheel. The crash occurred on Montauk Highway, near Lexington Avenue at approx. 1:20 p.m. causing one car to careen into a wooded area on the south side of Montauk Hwy.
The SCPD 5th Pct., Brookhaven Fire Dept., and South Country Ambulance responded. The injured parties were taken to a local hospital.
Montauk Hwy. was closed in both directions for approx. one half of an hour.
