I have the exact same set up as you and I discovered that if you put the PTO lever to the rear only position this allows the midmount PTO to freely turn when installing the deck. Makes for a much easier install.
Hi 1teddy1979. Thanks for this video, although it's from way back 89 years ago! You don't happen to have a video of you installing that kit do you. Just bought the TCB10953 Kid for the exact mower deck for my 1025r and looks like I may need to drill some holes? Didn't see on in your video list. Some close-ups of your mounting holes and bolts would be cool too. Thanks.
I really kind of forget I may of had to drill a couple holes for the mulch kit. I can't get any close ups of the bolts or anything because I have sold this machine. Sorry I can't help you out
how many acres do you cut with it? I cut 5 acres a week on my land and I'm highly considering getting a mulching kit but haven't talked to anyone with one on their 1026r to say whether it's worth it or not. thanks for the video
S B I used it to cut a few of the bigger properties I maintained and the mulch kit is awesome! even if the grass got a little ahead of me in the spring this tractor has LOTS of power to mulch it up and leaves almost nothing behind. before the mulch kit I would be leaving huge swaths of cut grass if it got too long before I got to cut it
S B John deere it comes with blades and baffles that are all steel someone told me that they have now changed the baffles to plastic but I am not sure if that is true or not
Good video but the time waste was substantial. Would have been nice if you cut out all the waste....moving video, steering wheel video etc. This would be half the length.

Kryten428 thank you for the tip I am going to try that from now on
