Ups! A small mistake at 7:50: it's" ctrl+shft+V" to paste style, not "C"😉

Aaagh! Good spot mate, you're dead right! I'll see if I can stick in an annotation for that - thanks a mil for letting me know :)

What about using the Pencil tool to draw vector lines? It won't be as perfect but that's not necessarily a bad thing, no?
Regardless, thanks for a brilliant lesson on drawing with Affinity Designer. I learned an incredible amount in short time, in a fun & engaging presentation.

Oh for sure! That's one of the things I love about Affinity Designer - there's a load of ways to approach everything, even with basic line creation! I guess it is a case of 'horses for courses' with the tools; some work great for some tasks and others are better for others ... I actually think everybody should spend a couple of days restricted to the tools they're not overly used to as alternatives to their go to ones... it's easy to some of them off but sometimes it's just a lack of familiarity (we've all been there!)

I could not make it through the video because of the painfully loud music. I have to watch RUclips with headphones and when I turn up the volume high enough to hear your voice clearly, the music comes up to ear-splitting levels.

The music is annoying as hell, why?
