- welp. I have been thinking about shaving my head (not really seriously) for a few months, and I finally just did it. I have seen a lot of videos of girls shaving their heads and figured it would be fun to at least do once haha. Thank you all for your support and I hope you enjoy this hair transformation! :)

Nobody realizes how uncomfortable having damaged long hair is
I couldn't brush my hair.It was either extremely painful and tiring to brush it, so most of the time I was like"fuck it, I don't give a shit", and went out with bed head.
I had black hair and I wanted to get rid of it, so I bleached it 3 times in 3 months and no matter what I did and what treatments I used, my hair was still damaged and hard to manage
well you don’t until you have it. it just feels like you have a cheap and dirty wig glued to your head. i cant wait to shave it...
I just shaved my extremely dry damaged and matted hair and it feels amazing

I love her regardless of her hair. The person she is, the way she behaves, her personality, her genuine smile, her amazing content, are the reasons why I watch her. I am so inspired by her and her choices in life and seeing her do this just shows me how she's growing up and wanted a fresh start. I suffer with anxiety and depression and when she said she conquered anxiety I asked "when can I say I did that?".... hopefully sometime soon I can say that about all of my mental health circumstances. Anyway, I doubt anyone is actually reading this but I love you Kayla Rose and I am just so thankful I get to see you thrive and succeed on youtube. You have an amazing heart.

I'm glad you did this, even if you regret it when it takes a while to grow out. The comfort of not having damaged hair has to be so worth it. Your hair is going to be so much healthier. And it is really just hair. It does grow back. My cousin and I go through cycles of cutting our hair super short and growing it back out. It takes forever, but also no time at all. You blink and it's been two years and your hair is down to your shoulders and bangs tucked behind your ear. BUT the more you think about it, the slower it grows.

I have shaved my head twice .. starting over is a fresh fun experience and I've never regretted it .. growing it out is a bitch sometimes but it's so fun trying out all the styles as it grows and if you leave it alone and dont bleach it etc you end up with really healthy hair! .. you are stunning babe.
i absolutely LOVE this so much. you were beautiful then and you’re STILL beautiful now. i just recently cut my hair short cause i bleached my hair a couple times too and it was just dry and damaged at the ends. really wanted to start over, too. you look amazing kayla and i love how you’re always sticking to what you want to do rather than what others want you to do. ❤️

For pretty much the entirety of my life I've never known what to do with my hair, so I've never been good at taking care of it, and so it's kinda damaged for the most part. Two of my friends actually decided to buzz cut their hairs for similar reasons of starting over. I've been tempted to do the same, but I'm simply afraid lol.

After I bleached my hair (2 years ago) it destroyed it. And I did it once. I’ve been thinking about shaving it as well. It’s thin and weak. It’s so fragile. Even the new growth is week. I’ve starting taking biotin.

i bleached my hair as well, and its so high maintenance and you constantly have to moisturize it and all that- idk its been a couple days and it makes me feel kind of responsible but is also annoying- i might shave it after having it dyed for awhile- like maybe 4 months? i was originally thinking of letting it grow out and chopping of the damaged part but my hair grows super slow since sometimes i don't take in enough nutrients for my hair to even grow-
