I bought an amazon copy years ago. Less sophisticated bug still works. Those small canisters are the most pricey but compact and enough for lightweight weekend trips. I found the 2 larger size canisters and better value and empty those into the small ones. Paint is wearing off em now due to so many refills. 😅 Check valve for leakage after😮wards in soapy water . Great idea. Thanks for sharing
This one looks a hell of a lot better made than the cheapo ones I've seen on the Arabian Nights website. Don't think I've seen one with a pressure release valve before, either. I'd suggest only refilling a can once, mind. But I'm tempted, I've got about 7 semi-full gas cans in my cellar as we speak and working out which one to take out for a trip gets to be more time consuming than the rest of my packing.
it makes use of the "ideal gas" law : (P1xV1)/T1 = (P2xV2)/T2. The "intelligence" of the adapter is a "non-return valve", so at the beginning you have a big pressure/potential differential taking full profit of the above mentioned laws, the non-returnvalve stops this "law" to find the perfect equilibrum but give us a max "profit" ... Usefull or gadget? ... if you have a "big canister" at home and use your stove a lot, yes I think it is. for me (1 canister every 1-2 years) more a gadget as on my trip I am never far away from "civilisation" to buy a new one (or worst case go to a restaurant)
I'm confused, you started with 2 canisters, 1 weighed 7.4 ounces (3:30) which is the full weight, the other you didn't weigh but you said it had some in it. You ended with one canister at 6.7 ounces (6:00), and 1 that was at 3.9 ounces (5:33) which is the empty weight. So where did the at least .7 ounces of gas go?
The one that was 7.4 ounces was a brand new one just to show how much it weighs when it is full. If you notice on the table, I’ve got four canisters in front of me at the beginning of the video.
Hope that makes sense. Sorry for the confusion. I had a large canister that I never used. I had a full canister at 7.4 ounces and I had two other canisters that were less than half full. I married the two less than half full together. It would’ve been helpful for the viewer if I would’ve weighed the less than half ones as well just to show the starting point.🤦♂️

Im ordering the stickers, the flip fuel actual transfer thingy is a bonus! 😂
That tool is a money saver! I will definitely be buying one for myself.
A brilliant little gadget! It is always awesome to save space whilst motocamping.
Ordered! I've got piles of these halfies in my bike camping gear.
Enjoy!
Thanks. Definitely going to pick this up. Keep them coming.
Got one and so glad I did!

Very cool product!
Oh man, that's awesome! I have at least 6 half empty canisters laying around LOL
I've contemplated this issue many times. Finally a solution!
Nice thanks!

That's neato👌 We can steal from others now😆
Two cans and a rocket burner is still smaller than the multi fuel burners
Thanks! I always wondered how well those worked.

Picked mine up a few weeks ago 👍🏻
Nice!
Nice!!!
Nice bit of gear. However, I use stoves that run on gasoline and fill them from my spare gas can. One less type of fuel to worry about.
That's awesome I would use it

Thank you for the review , that product is so handy
Ok, took an inventory look through my gear and discovered 3 canisters collecting dust and new season approaching. I’ll try. Unique gadget. @jrdepew
